What if the distorted widescreen lens is not clear?

1. Use inspection film or subtitle film to show, and adjust the focal length of the basic lens to make the screen image clear.

2. Install a wide-screen deformable lens as close as possible to the basic lens to avoid optical flow loss. Adjust the focus ring of the wide-screen deformable lens to the corresponding position according to the projection distance (there is usually a projection distance adjustment scale on the focus ring of the lens). When using widescreen lens for projection at home, due to the small area and short projection distance at home, in general, the projection distance of widescreen deformable lens is 7 meters to ∞, that is, the projection distance is less than 7 meters, so it is impossible to clearly adjust the screen surface. There is also a wide-screen deformable lens with an adjustment range of 5 meters to ∞. If the adjustment method of projection distance is correct and unclear within the adjustment range of wide-screen lens, then the lens group of wide-screen deformable lens may be misplaced.

3. The reflected white light makes the light width of the screen expand horizontally, and the deformation position is adjusted to make the light width symmetrical up and down.

4. When displaying, the horizontal lines of the image are clear, and the vertical lines are a little blurred. You can fine-tune the focus ring of the distorted lens to make the image clear. If the picture is still blurred after fine-tuning, the basic lens should be slightly adjusted, subject to the clear image.

5. Clean the wide-screen deformable lens. Wipe the front lens (cylindrical lens) along the circumference of the lens to prevent the lens group from dislocation, and wipe it back and forth along the bus of the lens group. Other cleaning and maintenance methods are the same as the projection lens.

6. Do not disassemble the wide-screen deformable lens, and the lens should not be subjected to strong vibration, because the calibration bus must be carried out on the instrument, and strong vibration or arbitrary disassembly will affect the projection effect.
