Fengxian District Museum has more than 2,800 cultural relics, including ceramics, paintings, statues and bronzes. And there is a special collection of Jiangnan homespun costumes with folk characteristics.

At present, there are more than 200 cultural relics protection sites in the whole region, including 2 municipal cultural relics protection units and 1 1 district cultural relics protection units. Among them, the famous Huating Dongshitang and Jianghai ancient cultural sites in the city have applied to become municipal cultural relics protection units. The museum attaches great importance to the protection of limited cultural relics in Fengxian area. In 2000, it completed the relocation and protection of three stone workshops and a stone bridge, including Fang Jingyi. Repair the former sites of Nanshiqiao and Shuguang Middle School in Yuan Dynasty; The protection of Fengcheng Yuecheng site in the 19th year of Ming Hongwu is about to be completed, and many places mourning the past have been restored. The museum also uses the large exhibition hall on the second floor to hold various temporary exhibitions. Among them, the photo exhibition on flood fighting and disaster relief, the cultural relics exhibition on the 50th anniversary of the National Day, and the exhibition on young heroes in the 20th century were all very successful, and achieved a double harvest of spiritual and material civilization.
