Where is the best night sky?

The best night sky is in Chaka Salt Lake, Taklimakan Desert, Ali Night Park in Tibet and so on.

1, Chaka Salt Lake

Chaka Salt Lake is located at 36 degrees north latitude, in the east of Qaidam Basin in Qinghai Province. The plateau is pollution-free. In the lake area, you can clearly appreciate the vastness of the Milky Way and the dazzling strangeness of meteors. The reflection of the lake makes the starry sky blend with the lake, and the starry sky seems to fall on the lake. Therefore, the Chaka Salt Lake at night is called "the mirror of the night sky" in China.

2. Taklimakan Desert

Taklimakan Desert in Tarim Basin is the largest desert in China and the second largest mobile desert in the world. The whole area is 330,000 square kilometers, and the average annual precipitation does not exceed100 mm. The climate is warm and dry, partly cloudy with little rain, making it a good place to watch the stars.

3. Ali Night Park in Tibet

Because of its high altitude and thin air, Ali region in Tibet has good astronomical observation conditions and the best star-watching spots in the Arctic, namely Ali Observatory and Night Park.

The night park near Ali Observatory is surrounded by mountains and is the highest night park in the world. Whenever night falls, it will become a mysterious dark world. The stars are the protagonists here, and the stars in the sky seem to be at your fingertips.
