What does Yinggehai oil resources mean?

Yinggehai petroliferous basin, located in the south of Beibu Gulf, is a U-shaped basin in the southeast of Hainan Island. The basin includes two different tectonic basins in the east and west. The Xiyinggehai basin in the west is an extensional fault basin of Tethyan system, and the Qiongdongnan basin in the east is an isolated basin of Pacific Rim system. Qiongdongnan basin covers an area of about 40,000 square kilometers, with oil resources of about 4 billion tons and natural gas resources of 6.4 trillion cubic meters. There is a world-class offshore gas field here-Cliff 13- 1 gas field. Located in the 90-meter underwater sea area 100 km south of Hainan Island, it has a gas-bearing area of 53.85 square kilometers, geological reserves 1077 billion cubic meters and economically recoverable reserves of 85 billion cubic meters. The annual output of natural gas in the gas field is 3.4 billion cubic meters, of which 2.9 billion cubic meters are delivered to Longgutan combined cycle power plant in Hong Kong, and 500 million cubic meters are supplied to Nanshan Power Plant in Sanya City, Hainan Province and Hainan Natural Gas Chemical Energy Plant. 1996 On New Year's Day, Ya 13- 1 gas field officially supplied gas to Hong Kong, and in March 1 supplied gas to Hainan Province. The main facilities of Ya 13- 1 gas field include: offshore production platform, gas processing and living platform, submarine gas pipeline with a length of 780km and a diameter of 7 1 cm from the gas field to Hong Kong, submarine gas pipeline with a diameter of 34 cm from the gas field to the governor of Hainan, and Lujiazui depressurization metering station in Hong Kong New Territories. This gas field is also the largest offshore gas field jointly developed by China and foreign countries. Xiyinggehai Basin covers an area of about 39,000 square kilometers, which is the middle basin in the suture zone. After preliminary exploration, the oil resources in the basin are about 2.7 billion tons and the natural gas resources are 2.3 trillion cubic meters.
