Qian Li Qian

Li Xi, male, was born in Nantong, Jiangsu Province in March 2005. China, director and actor. 65438-0930 studied in Nantong Zunchong Middle School. During middle school, he was keen on performing arts, organized a "Little Drama Club" with his classmates Zhao Dan and Gu, and once performed progressive dramas such as Tian Han's "South Return" and "Suzhou Nighttalk". 1935 joined the Shanghai Amateur Dramatists Association, 1936 joined the Shanghai Star Film Company as an actor and was active in the Shanghai film industry. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he joined the Fourth Team of Shanghai National Salvation Drama and worked as an actor in Central Studio and China Film Studio. After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Qian worked as an actor in Hong Kong Yonghua, Daguangming and other film companies.

After the founding of New China, Qian returned to Shanghai Film Studio as an actor. After 1958, Qian officially turned to directing and directed films independently. With his unique pragmatic spirit and superhuman wisdom, he is deeply loved by his friends and is called "the living archives of China's films". Qian died of advanced lung cancer in Shanghai Tongren Hospital on the evening of July 3, 2009, at the age of 95.
