What are the three elements?
Choosing a shooting point is the basis of all photography activities. Every time you shoot, you must make clear the theme and content of the work, so that you can choose a good shooting point. Choosing the right shooting point is the premise of highlighting the theme and improving the artistic conception. The essence of photography is subtraction, so any other factors that hinder the subject and affect the viewer's attention should be avoided as much as possible.
Secondly, the shooting angle, also known as the horizontal angle, is the angle formed by the camera lens and the apparent horizon of the subject. It is divided into five angles: front, front, side, back and back. The following figure shows several horizontal angles intuitively, and takes portrait photography as an example to illustrate.
Front angle: the camera is facing the subject, which is most commonly used for photo shooting. Although dull, it is accurate and beautiful.
Front angle: The camera lens makes an angle of 45 with the main line of sight of the figure, and the figure is slightly inclined, giving the static picture a sense of movement, which is between the front and the side. I often use it when taking a single photo of my girlfriend. Why don't you ask your big pig's hoof to learn one? The advantage of this angle is that it can highlight the theme and will not give people a sense of distance like photos.
Side angle: The angle between the camera lens and the protagonist's line of sight is 90 degrees. When shooting a single photo or silhouette, this technique is often used to highlight the temperament of the subject and give people a handsome feeling.
Back side angle: an angle between the back sides, and the camera lens and the subject are approximately at an angle of 135.
Back corner: As the name implies, it is to shoot from the back to the front. In short, it is to photograph the figure's back and portray the character's thoughts and feelings through body movements and background. The picture is implicit but gives people rich imagination.
The shooting distance affects the performance of the subject and the environment, which is generally divided into: distant view, panoramic view, middle view, close view and close-up. We can often see close-ups of people in movies, which are often used in conjunction with the blurring effect of large apertures. You can review the previous three elements of exposure yourself to better understand the content of this article.
Foresight is often used in landscape photography, and it is usually shot with wide-angle lenses such as 16-35 or 14-24. Most of them are used to shoot scenic spots, which are magnificent, appealing to both refined and popular tastes and giving people beautiful enjoyment.
Finally, the shooting height is written. "Lower it and you have the whole world." Shooting height, as the name implies, can be divided into elevation angle, flat angle and depression angle. Elevation angle means looking up, looking up, lowering the lens, and the low position gives people a feeling of being tall and majestic. It is often used for urban architecture and landscape shooting, and also for portrait shooting, creating the effect of "long legs" and making the subject tall and magnificent. Flat angle: that is, head-up, the angle of view of a normal camera. And depression angle: the shooting angle from top to bottom is suitable for shooting large scenes.
