The Baokang line, which is hotly discussed by netizens, is a section of highway from Baoxing to Kangding in Ya 'an, running through Qionglai Mountain range. Because it is not only a difficult cross-country road, but also has beautiful alpine valleys and snowy mountains and clouds along the way, it is called "Sichuan's only library road", so it has been very popular on the Internet recently.

After swimming in Dawaganza, we drove to Baoxing County, had lunch, refueled, checked the condition of the car, and then started the journey across.

The section from Baoxing County to Zhonggang Village is about 40 kilometers. The front section of this section is in the suburb of Baoxing County, with many villages and good road conditions. Although the second half is a mountain road, it is mostly a cement road, which is not difficult.

The main crossing section is from Zhonggang Village to Lianghekou, about 40 kilometers. This section will pass through Pujigou, Denglonggou, Jiudaoguai and the first pass.

After passing through Zhonggang village, we gradually entered the inaccessible mountain canyon. Most of the roads are earth-rock roads under repair, with sharp bends and steep slopes, and many landslides and flying stones, which make it difficult to cross.

Puji Valley and Denglonggou criss-cross, with high valleys and dense forests, waterfalls in the stream, misty clouds and picturesque scenery. Especially in autumn, red leaves and colorful forests are very beautiful. Even if it is early winter, the colors in the ditch are rich.

It is said that this area has been built, and its name has been changed from the original Puji Valley Scenic Area to Denglonggou Scenic Area, and the Giant Panda National Park is still under construction. After completion, this crossing route will also be bumpy and flat.

Starting from Denglonggou, we started to enter Panshan Road, which is very dangerous and difficult to walk, but there are cement guardrails along the way. On the way, there are several fence gates surrounded by local herdsmen on the highway, which can be opened by yourself, but don't forget to close behind you.

The higher up, the worse the road conditions, especially the gravel sections with many landslides and narrow roads, which are a test for driving skills and vehicles.

Our car broke down at the ninth corner and the right front wheel was punctured by a stone, so we had to stop and put on a spare tire.

After changing the tire, I continued to move forward, and I struggled through nine corners and turned to the first level. The mountain pass is about 3700 meters above sea level and has been covered with obvious snow.

The weather from Yakou to Lianghekou changes rapidly. When we first arrived, the visibility was good. In a blink of an eye, the sky became foggy, and the sun shone on the mountains and grasslands from the clouds, which was very spectacular.

When I arrived at Lianghekou, I originally planned to go on to Xiaojin after the second pass, but it was said that the road conditions there were poor, there was no spare tire, and it was late, so I moved to Kangding with better road conditions and lived in Guzan Town at night.
