Du Chun experienced level 10 labor pain. It’s really not easy for women. Can you share your experience of giving birth?

I will share with you my experience when I gave birth to my first child.

The baby showed no signs of delivery when it was due. Because she had gestational diabetes and was afraid that the fetus would be in danger, the doctor suggested using oxytocic drugs to induce labor.

I took birth-inducing medicine at around 12 noon that day. The labor pains started at 3 or 4 pm, and my water broke at around 9 pm. Everyone in my family thought I was about to give birth, and the intervals between labor pains became shorter and shorter each time. I grabbed the armrests of the hospital bed in pain, holding back tears every time. There was only a doctor on duty at night, but no one could be found. When I asked for a nurse, the nurse told me that it hurts to give birth to a baby, so just bear with it. She would come to listen to the fetal heart rate sometimes, and she just said to raise your buttocks and don't drain the amniotic fluid.

I was in pain all night and persisted until the doctor came for a ward check in the morning. I had just opened three fingers of my cervix. I was exhausted and the pain had reached the point where I couldn't bear it. I cried and yelled. I felt like many people were looking at me. I no longer cared about my image. It was really painful to death. The doctor said to give me a sedative injection to let me rest and conserve my strength. After the injection, it did not relieve my pain at all, and my head began to become unclear. I started talking nonsense, and my family was frightened by me.

But I don’t know what I said afterward. I heard what my family said later, and it seemed that my head was no longer functioning properly. I was in pain and yelled. It was estimated that the entire floor could hear my voice. The pain lasted all morning. By 1 p.m. the next day, my cervix was only three fingers old. The doctor checked and found that the fetus was I didn't even get into the pelvis, so I decided to have a caesarean section at the last minute.

I didn’t care about the pain, so I kept shouting about pain. My mother-in-law, mother, and husband all cried when they saw me hurting like this. I cried too, just because of the pain. I finally entered the operating room at around 2pm. The anesthesiologist asked me to hug my leg and give me anesthesia. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t hold it. After the doctor’s impatience and several efforts on my part, I finally hugged my leg and gave me anesthesia. . After a while, the anesthetic took effect, and I instantly felt more comfortable than I had ever felt before, and I couldn't feel any pain at all. During the operation, I almost fell asleep. I was in pain all night and all morning. Finally, I gave birth to our baby by caesarean section. The moment I saw the baby, I burst into tears. I was both aggrieved and happy, and I will never forget it in my life.

Every mother is great, and I have been great too!
