The larva is maggot-like, and the mature larva is about 3 mm long. Larvae has 3 instars: 1 instar is transparent and almost colorless;
2 ~ 3 years old is bright yellow or light orange yellow with a pair of conical posterior flaps at the end of abdomen. The pupa is a peripupa, oval, with a slightly flat ventral surface, with the size of 1.7 ~ 2.3× 0.5 ~ 0.75 mm, orange to golden yellow.
