A: The landlord's statement is very poor.

For conventional photography, PS can only correct the color difference of the original image and crop the image.

Instead of changing the composition of the picture itself as understood by the landlord, this PS is called "highlight photography" in the era of film photography.

In addition: PS is very capable, but not omnipotent. No matter how high PS technology is, it is impossible to turn Wu Dalang into Ximen Qing.

3. The landlord asked: Usually take a SLR to shoot something humanistic, or scenery, or portraits. Is it PS or the most primitive and complete state?

A: Well ... there are no clear rules, just look at the landlord's own needs.

RAW can retain the original information of the image to the maximum extent, and provide a relaxed working environment for the later PS.

If the landlord is very satisfied with the effect after PS, he can completely abandon PS and save JPG.

However ..... if the purpose of the landlord's filming is to make a plate and print, it's better not to save JPG, but to save TIF.

4. The landlord asked: Is there any software that can compress the volume into JPG format without affecting (or maintaining) the image quality to the greatest extent?

A: It depends on the landlord's demand for image quality.

If the demand loss is small, such software is not available!

As for whether it can be saved as JPG, it depends on the landlord's requirements for images, which have already been mentioned when answering the previous question.

If the purpose of the landlord's saving is only to paste pictures on the internet, enjoy them on the monitor, or print a 7-inch or 8-inch image, then … saving as JPG is enough.

5. The landlord asked: Compared with PS, can DDP software replace the function of PS? I mean, which operation is more convenient, easy to understand and easy to use?

Using DPP to solve RAW image files shot by Canon camera is better than Photoshop and more operable.

Photoshop is better than DPP in conventional image processing, and much better, at least much more powerful!
