What does shutter mean?

Shutter is a mechanical device that controls the exposure time of camera.

Shutter is the mechanism used by camera to control the effective exposure time of photosensitive film. It is an important part of the camera, and its structure, form and function are important factors to measure the grade of the camera.

Generally speaking, the larger the shutter time range, the better. Low seconds is suitable for shooting moving objects, so a camera emphasizes that the shutter can reach116000 seconds at the earliest, which can easily capture fast moving targets. However, when shooting traffic at night, the shutter time will be lengthened, and the silky water flow effect in ordinary photos can only be photographed with a slow shutter.

Shutter type:

1. Shutter in front of the lens: The original shutter was just a cover in front of the lens. Remove the cover in front of the lens by hand during exposure and cover it by hand after exposure.

2. Inter-mirror shutter: Many mid-range 35mm cameras, mid-range double-reflex cameras and modern simple 35mm cameras all adopt inter-mirror shutter.

3. aperture shutter: the aperture of some simple cameras has the function of shutter. Most of these aperture shutters are diamond-shaped holes with two blades.

4. Behind-the-mirror shutter: Kebao shutter (Ricoh 126 camera). Seiko shutter (Topcon 35mm camera, Galaxy Optical SETR 235mm camera).
