1, pay attention to the light ratio: the so-called black-and-white photo is simply the contrast between light and dark. A good black-and-white photo, its light ratio is absolutely beautiful. Without a beautiful light ratio, a black-and-white photo will become relatively smooth without any distinctive features. The greater the light ratio, the stronger the emotion of black and white photos.

2. Look for lines, shapes and textures of light: Unlike color photos, we can't use color to create focus to guide the audience. For black-and-white photography, the simplest and most practical way to catch the audience's eye is to use the lines, shapes and textures in the scene. Shape and texture can not only highlight the picture content, but also exist as the picture content itself.

3. Use a mirrorless camera (micro-camera): Compared with a SLR, a mirrorless camera has a natural advantage when taking black and white photos. Because the mirrorless camera adopts electronic framing, "what you see is what you get", we can easily see the black-and-white contrast in the scene and know what kind of scene is easier to take good-looking black-and-white images.

4. Post-adjustment: also used for black-and-white photos in the later period. We can adjust the hue, saturation and brightness to make the gray level of an original color in the picture reach our satisfaction.

5, pay attention to the background: black and white photos should pay special attention to the background, it is best to have a sense of the times, it can be streets, buildings, rooms, avoid colorful backgrounds such as flowers.
