Where is the address of Bajin Literary College?

Bajin Exhibition Hall

Many Chengdu people don’t know this place related to Bajin; many people have come here for tea more than once, but they have never walked into Bajin Exhibition Hall , its loneliness and desolation make people sigh——

Just the day before we went, there was no visitor to the Bajin Exhibition Hall

The day we went to Bajin Institute of Literature, the sun was blazing. . Although we consulted relevant information before going there and roughly knew that the new building of Bajin University of Literature is located on Beigan Road, Longquanyi District, Chengdu, when we drove to the intersection in front of Longquan Bus Station, we still got lost and didn't know where to go. How to go. So, we had to stop and ask the local people about it. However, we were disappointed. They looked blank. Their answers were either "I don't know" or "I haven't heard of it." When we asked the fifth person, an old man finally told us the exact address of Bajin Literary College.

Following the old man’s guidance, about ten minutes later, we arrived at the Yima River bridge in front of the left front of Bajin Literary College. On both sides of the river, a white marble railing that meandered nearly 500 meters caught the eye. Fu Heng, deputy dean of Bajin College of Literature, once told reporters: "The local government of Longquan has spent a lot of effort on the new building. They have specially made great efforts to renovate the Yima River surrounding the new building and built white marble railings along the river. Every time "Every railing has a hidden secret? You will know when you see it," Xun said. "Going down and taking a closer look, it turns out that these white marble railings are carved with Ba Lao's profile, words spoken by Ba Jin, and his life and major works. The introduction, etc., is beautiful and novel. However, the water in the river was filthy and hazy, with some debris floating on it. One side of the river looked like a construction site to be developed, covered with weeds half as tall as a person.

Coming up from the river bank, the building with gray, blue and white as the main colors is as simple as an ordinary courtyard - this is the new building of Bajin Institute of Literature. The new museum covers an area of ??22 acres, and its layout adopts a symmetrical courtyard structure. The main buildings include Bajin Memorial Hall, comprehensive building, exhibition building and pavilions, as well as teahouses and restaurants contracted out. The building in the middle is the tallest, with two floors, and is the Bajin Exhibition Hall. There are scattered gardens at different heights between the buildings, with representative plants unique to Chengdu: bamboo and hibiscus. There are pavilions, bridges, flowing water and other architectural sketches in the garden.

Walking in from the gate, the most eye-catching thing is the four stone carvings about 70 cm long and 60 cm wide spread on the ground. These four stone carving floor tiles are respectively carved with pine, bamboo, plum and chrysanthemum. The four patterns symbolize Ba Jin’s integrity, honesty and perseverance.

However, when we actually walked into the courtyard, it was not as lively as we imagined. It seemed very deserted. Except for two staff members and a few tea guests, we did not see a single tourist. Soon, several tea guests began to fight with the landlord, and from time to time they would make loud noises and argue over a card.

We found Sister Wang who was selling tickets at the entrance of Bajin Exhibition Hall to learn about the situation. Sister Wang told us that when the new museum first opened to the public, there were still many people visiting here, especially students, because there were no admission fees at that time. Later, because you need to buy a 3 yuan ticket to enter the exhibition hall, the number of people coming gradually decreased. Except for some schools that organize students to visit on certain days, there are very few individual visitors on weekdays. Sister Wang told us that just the day before we went, there was no visitor to the Bajin Exhibition Hall.

Many people often come here to drink tea, but they are not interested in the exhibition hall across the wall.

On the empty dam outside the door of the Bajin Exhibition Hall, two little girls were playing. We "caught" an older little girl, and she told us that her name was Ai Zitong, a student in Grade 1, Class 1 of Longquan No. 7 Huajian Primary School. She said that she and her father often come here to play, but have never entered the exhibition hall. She doesn't even know what Ba Jin does. We asked several young people playing mahjong in the tea lounge next to the exhibition hall. Only one girl among them said that she had been to the exhibition hall. The others said that they often come here to drink tea, but they were not interested in the exhibition hall across the wall. , the reason is "it's not easy to play there."

There was a thick guestbook placed on a table next to the door of the exhibition hall, but not many people left messages. Among the few messages left, a tourist named Tai Yuangen wrote: "In the long ups and downs of life, today, after the rain and the sky are clear, we can more truly feel the beauty of your spirit and your pursuit of truth. , stick to the truth, 'even though you died nine times, you still have no regrets', you are the spiritual mentor of another upright intellectual after Mr. Lu Xun in the history of modern literature..."

There is a bronze statue of Ba Jin on the first floor of the exhibition hall. , calligraphy and paintings dedicated by well-known writers across the country, and a model of Balao’s former residence. The atmospheric and detailed models wowed us. It is understood that at the beginning, Yu Li, the model maker and world model aircraft champion, led several staff members to complete the installation work in five hours. The model, which is about 3.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, is placed behind the bronze statue of Ba Jin. This "miniature version" of Balao's former residence can even see every tile on the roof!

The second floor of the exhibition hall mainly displays some cultural and historical materials about Mr. Ba Jin.

It is roughly divided into three parts: "Into Ba Jin", which is mainly composed of 54 exhibition panels produced by the China Modern Literature Museum. They are all photos and materials of Ba Jin scattered across the country. There are more than 130 photos and manuscripts. The photocopies cover almost all aspects of Balao's life: his interactions with friends, Balao's chronology of major events, his literary career, reflections and random thoughts. There are more than 60 photos in this part of "Ba Jin and Bing Xin", which mainly show the deep friendship between the two century-old men. "People's Writer - Ba Jin" Xun specially collected photos that reflect Balao's deep nostalgia, including the scene of Balao's return to his hometown. There are more than 60 photos, most of which are precious historical materials only seen in Sichuan.

Before we knew it, more than three hours had passed. During this period, except for us, not a single visitor came in. When I just walked out of the exhibition hall, the sound of "cracking" firecrackers suddenly sounded outside the door of the School of Liberal Arts. It seemed that someone was holding a student banquet in the restaurant of the School of Liberal Arts. Many guests came and the School of Liberal Arts seemed very lively, but this seemed to have nothing to do with Ba Jin. Debris from the firecrackers fell all over the floor, which was particularly eye-catching in the sunlight.
