So, what are the characteristics of this new type of ship? The overall appearance structure is almost the same as that of LHD- 1 "Bumblebee" and LHA-6 "American", and the full-load displacement exceeds 40,000 tons. The whole square is about 2.5 football fields on the straight deck, and the four corners of the deck are almost at right angles.

Under the deck of a large hull, there are helicopter hangars, amphibious ships and vehicle docks. There is a transitional double bridge design on the right side of the deck, and its overall effect gives people a strong feeling that only the big country navy can have.

According to the size and displacement data of Type 075 amphibious assault ship, this ship can carry more than 24 helicopters with various purposes besides 2-4 726A air-cushion landing craft and/kloc-0 amphibious landing vehicle required by amphibious intensive land warfare camp.

In terms of displacement, Type 075 is about 2 times larger than the current 07 1 dock landing ship of the Navy. Some experts believe that the 075 combat command system can perform the task of special mixed fleet command and amphibious combat command, but it will not control any anti-ship weapons and ground fire support weapons, because in order to ensure its own safety, 075 almost completely obtains air defense, anti-ship and anti-submarine protection through its escort ships, so a cross-platform data link system will be installed.

Therefore, the Type 075 equipment, like amphibious assault ship in western countries, only carries short-range self-defense weapon systems, focusing on amphibious assault missions, so as to carry as many three-dimensional landing combat equipment as possible.
