Lenin’s view on matter, his views on matter.
Understanding Lenin’s definition of matter:
First, how idealism understands matter. Idealism does not mean that it does not talk about matter, but that matter is a product of a certain spirit, derived from the spirit, and of secondary nature. Among them, subjective idealism believes that matter is the product of some kind of subjective spirit, while objective idealism believes that matter is the product of some kind of objective spirit. Regarding the idealist point of view, Lenin clearly stated that matter "exists independently of our feelings", that is, matter is the origin and primary, while spirit is the "copy, photography, reflection" of matter, that is, spirit It is a copy, a copy, a derivative, a second nature. This upholds the materialist view of matter and opposes the idealist view of matter.
Second, how does dualism understand matter. Dualism describes matter as being parallel to spirit, and both are the origin of the world. Lenin said that understanding the spirit is nothing more than "copying, photographing, and reflecting" the material, that is, the spirit is a copy, a copy, and the copy or copy depends on the original. How can it be juxtaposed with the original? This adheres to the monist view of matter and opposes the dualist view of matter.
Third, how does agnosticism understand matter. Agnosticism believes that matter is unknowable and attempts to describe matter as mysterious or even non-existent. Lenin made it clear that matter is "perceived by man through his senses" and "is copied, photographed and reflected by our senses". He used the four verbs "perceive", "copy", "photograph" and "reflect" in succession to explain that matter can be known, and knowability is the ability of human beings and the nature of matter. This upholds the agnostic view of matter and opposes the agnostic view of matter.
Fourth, how does old materialism understand matter. Old materialism not only recognizes that matter is objective and the origin, but also acknowledges that matter is knowable. However, because it does not understand dialectics, it cannot understand the relationship between philosophy and concrete science, nor can it understand the relationship between philosophical material categories and concrete scientific materials. In relation to structural theory, it is often thought that matter in philosophy is the atom in natural science, or even a specific form of matter. Lenin's views on old materialism clearly stated that "matter is a philosophical category that marks objective reality." That is to say, the material that materialism talks about is a material category that has been abstracted by philosophy. This category only marks one quality ----- -Objective reality, or objective reality is the only characteristic of the material category of philosophy. This adheres to the dialectics of the material view, draws a clear line with the old materialist material view, and at the same time rectifies the dialectical relationship between the philosophical material category and the specific scientific material structure theory.
