The Institute of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (hereinafter referred to as Peking University Institute of Remote Sensing) was established in 1983. It has a good cooperative relationship with international remote sensing institutions such as the Space Technology Application Department of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) (formerly RRSP Regional Remote Sensing Program). With the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Australia and other countries have personnel exchanges. We have established long-term cooperative relations with Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Italy and other countries. He has undertaken the international training tasks of the United Nations and the National Remote Sensing Center for many times, and trained a large number of professionals for developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region (such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea, Iran, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Mongolia and other countries).
