Qunxianli, Minsheng Street, Shijiazhuang

To say in the fairy group (in the fairy group? ), it must be the same name as Hu, and people over 70 have a deep understanding. On the map compiled by 1985, the names of hutongs on the south side of Minsheng Street are arranged from east to west, namely Nanyi Lane, Naner Lane, Nansan Lane, Nansi Lane and Nanwu Lane. It is estimated that Hu had the same name before liberation and changed it to this during the Cultural Revolution.

I don't live in Minsheng Street. 1962 or so, living in Bada Hutong at the eastern end of Zhongshan Road in the west of Qiaoxi, next to Qianmi Street in the railway station. One day, my primary school classmate Cui and I walked through the old cave and went to the art cinema in Minsheng Street to see an old version of Midnight Singing. It was really scary, especially the scene of meeting in the garden, which scared us to look down at the screen. Forget the past.

A few days ago, I went to Minsheng Street site and took some photos for your reference. Below is a long alley on the south side, diagonally opposite the art cinema on the north side. It may be Nansan Lane, heading for Nantong to Meishi Street. As can be seen from the photos, large areas of old houses are being demolished.
