Shen Jinchuan’s personal life

Graduated from the Exploration Department of Beijing Institute of Geology in 1960, he has been engaged in teaching and research on mineral crystal structure and crystal chemistry for a long time. Since 1978, it has won twelve major scientific and technological achievement awards at the national and ministerial levels. He has published nearly 100 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals and translated one book (Comparative Crystal Chemistry, 280,000 words).

In 1980, he received computer training in Hong Kong hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology entrusted by the National Science and Technology Commission and obtained a certificate.

As a visiting scholar from 1981 to 1983, he worked with Professor P.B. MOORE in the Department of Geophysics of the University of Chicago on the crystal chemistry research of complex rare earth element minerals. He has published in first-class academic journals in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Eight papers were published, among which the discovery of a new type of large pore structure in phosphorite and the crystal structure and crystal chemistry of a group of complex rare earth element minerals were the most important. A monograph published in the United States used the crystal structure of this mineral as a color cover.

After returning to China in 1983, he continued to engage in research on the crystal structure of minerals and inorganic compounds. He made important achievements in the synthesis and structure research of barium rare earth fluorocarbonate minerals and new superconducting materials. He accurately measured fluorine for the first time. The secondary superstructure of bastnaite and the crystal structure of the yttrium barium copper oxygen orthorhombic superconducting phase. Remarkable achievements have been made in the development of computer application software. The three-dimensional display and drawing software of crystal structure and crystal form was rated as "Major Scientific and Technological Achievements during the Seventh Five-Year Plan" by the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources and won the Excellent Software Award of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources.

From 1984 to 1986, he served as the chief engineer of the Testing Center of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

In 1986, he was selected into the World's Who's Who by the Cambridge International Biography Center in the United Kingdom and the North Carolina Institute of Biography in the United States.

In 1990, he led two graduate students to successfully develop a four-circle single crystal diffractometer microcomputer control and crystal structure analysis system for the first time in China, filling a gap in my country's high-tech field, and in July 1992 On September 7, it passed the ministerial appraisal. It is believed that the performance of the instrument has reached the level of similar international instruments, and it has important application and promotion value and huge economic benefits.

After 1994, important progress was made in the development and application of multimedia computer-assisted instruction systems (CAI) and three-dimensional animation systems, and a series of electronic publications were produced in structural mineralogy and crystal structure solid modeling systems. In addition, Professor Shen Jinchuan established and led the Institute of Human Science of China University of Geosciences, and actively explored human body science (special functions) in RS body field photography, magnetic effects of acupoint fields, consciousness bioengineering, and consciousness material engineering. , deep consciousness energy concentration phenomenon), the preliminary results have been published in Chinese, English and Japanese, attracting attention at home and abroad.
