Photographic Works of Weizhou Island in Guangxi

Weizhou Island-Weizhou Island is located in Beihai, Guangxi, embedded in the blue waters of Beibu Gulf in the South China Sea. This is an island formed by volcanic eruption, the youngest volcanic island in China and one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Islands in China". The most romantic thing I can think of is to go to an uninhabited beach with you, count every sunrise and sunset stained with shells, and start in mid-May. Is there a chance?

Route 1: Rainbow Beach-Tang Sheng Catholic Church-Colored Highway-Shell Beach 1. Rainbow beach

Rainbow Beach is located on the east coast of Weizhou Island. There are no white sand beaches here, but there are rare geological features such as sea cliffs, sea platforms and sea caves in China. The most beautiful thing about Rainbow Beach is that when the tide ebbs, you can see the "traces" of the sea platform, and the trenches with earthy tones, khaki and dark green are staggered.

I don't know whether the clouds floated into the world of seawater or whether the eroded seawater contained clouds. The connection between pale green moss and the clear blue sea is fascinating.

2. Tang Sheng Catholic Church

It takes 15 minutes to ride an electric car from Rainbow Beach, which is the main landmark of Weizhou Island of Tang Sheng Catholic Church. Founded in the Qing Dynasty, it is one of the four major Catholic churches in the late Qing Dynasty. At the same time, it is a typical Gothic building, and the building material is coral stone, which is very beautiful.

You can visit the church. After visiting the church, you can also visit the nearby alleys, where the most primitive architecture and lifestyle of Weizhou Island are preserved.

3. Colored highways

It takes about 5 minutes to get out of the Catholic church by car. What you see is an asphalt highway. Named after the red and white ribbons on the ground, this is a real coastal highway and a colorful coastal highway. I can't help thinking of her song "Coastal Highway Exit". How romantic it is to get on the bus with your lover. You can also feel the slow life by the sea if you want.

4. Shell Beach

If you continue riding along the colorful highway, you will find another beach, which is softer than the spectacular rainbow beach, with fine sand, white waves and singing shells.

Line 2: Crocodile Mountain Volcano Park-Dishui Village-Dishui Danping 1. Crocodile Mountain Volcano Park

There are latosolic red exposed volcanic rocks, low and gentle groves, clear and green seawater, drifting fishing boats and water curtain caves, and geological wonders such as sea pillars and ancient tree fossils are intertwined. Here you can also see the iconic lighthouse on the island, which is the guardian light of fishermen. Climbing to the watchtower at the top of the tower overlooks the endless coast.

2. Dishui Village

Are you tired after walking all day? Why not come to Dishui Village and have a rest? Because there are so many food stalls, there are also many small shops with red walls and tiles to fill their stomachs. There are also many homestays here with simple folk customs, don't you think, Mimi?

3. Drip and Danping

Shuidanping, formerly known as Dishuiyan, has a shady cliff top. The gap between the upper layers of the wall often overflows, such as hanging beads. Next to Dishui Village, the sand on Dishui Danping is thin and clean. Islander fishing boats are also docked on the beach, and local children are playing on the beach. The sunset glow is as drunk as fire.

Line 3: Notre Dame Church-Sinopec Crude Oil Wharf-Shiluokou Beach 1. Notre Dame Cathedral

Compared with the Catholic Church in Tang Sheng, Notre Dame is much smaller, smaller and more exquisite. This Gothic building is a three-story square bell tower.

2. Sinopec crude oil terminal

It used to be a crude oil terminal paid by the state, but now it has become the most amazing photography site on the island. Because the overall color is blue, it is affectionately called "blue bridge", but now it seems that swimming is forbidden because of safety problems. Unfortunately, everyone can only take pictures from a distance.

3. Shiluokou Beach

Shiluokou Beach is located on the west coast of Weizhou Island. Because the nearby village is like a stone snail, it is named Shiluokou. The beaches here are wide, thick and soft, maintaining the natural features of Weizhou Island.
