Underwater wonders of Okinawa in the submerged structure.

1985, lying quietly 20 or 30 meters underwater near Okinawa Island at the end of Hainan Island, Japan.

Some mysterious stones were discovered by accident. As a result, a mystery that excites and puzzles archaeologists gradually unfolds-are these buildings that look like monuments the heritage of ancient civilization? From the photos taken by divers, we can see that these mysterious underwater structures are obviously different from those formed naturally. Multilayer stone platforms, right-angled stones and wall-like structures, as well as stone rings around hexagonal columns, all smell of artificial carving. Other clues are more intriguing: there is a road around the stone structure; There are holes in the stone, which may be used to insert the pillars supporting the wooden structure. Stone castles with similar structures were found on the nearby seabed and seaside. All these seem to imply that there used to be ancient castles and stone platforms built for major ceremonies.

So far, there are two main zones in Okinawa waters that have attracted people's attention: one is in Nagao waters near Okinawa, where there are structures that look like walls and right-angled stones wrapped in corals; The other place is next to the southernmost island of Japan-the southern tip of Liangqing Island. There is an irregular five-story platform here, which looks very much like the multi-level platform used in various ceremonies in ancient times. So far, eight underwater abnormal structures have been found in the two sea areas. Professor Kimura, a marine geologist at Ryukyu University in Okinawa, has studied these eight abnormal underwater structures, especially the underwater platforms near Qingliangjian Islands for several years. He firmly believes that these underwater remains were built by people, possibly left by an unknown ancient civilization or from the Asian continent that gave birth to the oldest civilization. His reason is that if the five-story structure between Liang Qing and Liang Qing is formed by natural weathering, debris formed by weathering and corrosion will be found nearby, but so far no rock debris has been found here. In addition, Professor Kimura believes that the roads around the stone castle are obviously left by human beings. He judged that the construction of these underwater structures needs the assistance of high-level technology and some mechanical means. If it were not for manpower, it would be difficult to accomplish it by natural forces alone.

There are several possible explanations for the age of underwater structures. This site may have been submerged at the end of the last ice age, when the continental ice shield melted. In other words, because Japan is located in the active volcanic belt of the Pacific Ocean, frequent volcanic activities have caused the collapse and sinking of this area; It is also possible that some catastrophic events caused it to sink completely upright into the ocean. Professor Ishii, a geological expert at the University of Tokyo, believes that this site is partly man-made, and its age is about 8000 BC, which is roughly the same as that of Mesopotamia and Indian Valley civilizations in ancient West Asia. In addition, some scholars believe that its age should be 12000 years ago.

First-hand report of American divers

1In May, 1998, two American divers completed the underwater survey of these eight locations. Both of them have rich diving experience. Abu Si Nuo once inspected a sunken three-masted sailboat in the Grand Cayman, while Said has been diving for 40 years.

Okinawa waters are quite dangerous. The scene is very close to the shore, so the rough waves are very big, accompanied by the rapid undercurrent of divers and the patronage of sharks from time to time. But what is pleasant is that it is the third clearest water area in the world, with seawater visibility of more than 60 meters and extremely beautiful corals. At first, the two divers did not find many signs that the underwater site was artificially built. However, after carefully examining the ruins near Nagao and meeting with Professor Kimura, this speculation gradually formed in their minds.

Abu Si Nuo thinks that the buildings near the famous guards are like the walls of castles. This speculation can be strongly supported by castles with similar architectural styles on nearby islands, and the underwater structure between Liang Qing is likely to be the platform for holding the ceremony. On the underwater platform in Liang Qing, two divers found a very accurate linear structure, which clearly showed that the natural geological structure was either processed by tools or modified by humans. More importantly, unlike those naturally formed holes, the holes found on the platform are probably used to insert columns to support the wood structure. By human standards, these stone platforms are indeed huge, but we can imagine that by drilling a hole in the rock and inserting a supporting beam, the wooden platform can be easily used.

"The phenomenon we observed is very interesting, which makes us feel the need for further research." Abu Si Nuo said, "There are still some misunderstandings about these sites. What we have to do is to clarify the facts, and this can only be done through a more complete and rigorous scientific investigation. "

Natural molding is not impossible.

In the documentary "The Mystery of the Sphinx", geologist Skok once put forward his own unique view that the Sphinx was carved on the basis of a rock exposed to the ground about 8000 to 10000 years ago. At that time, he thought that it was at this time that the Sahara desert was finally attacked by heavy rain and turbulence. Only this kind of impact could explain why the flank and shell of the Sphinx left vertical and deep weathering marks. With this experience, during the diving inspection of Qingliangjian site, Skok also focused on finding and determining whether geological processes have ever affected the formation of underwater structures.

After many underwater explorations, Skok and his partner West did not come to a clear conclusion. But after observation and research, they put forward a possible geological explanation for the formation of the unique underwater landform here: all this may be formed by the natural erosion of layered sedimentary rocks. The strong seawater flow cuts away the eroded rock "like a layered cake", leaving a groove and platform structure that looks completely parallel and is finely cut.

On another similar abnormal structure, we can see that underwater rocks are layered in this way, but the part above the water surface of the same rock is not layered in this way, which implies that waves and water forces cut the rock. Skok also pointed out that corals attached to underwater rocks will make rocks look smoother, which will mislead people. But there are still some ancient tombs above the water, which must have been built by human beings, and their design obviously evolved from mysterious underwater structures. These mysterious structures were above sea level at the end of the last ice age from 8000 to 10000 years ago, and then sank to the bottom of the sea with the melting of icebergs. Skok said that all kinds of signs made it impossible for him to rule out the possibility that these sites were not built by human beings, or that they were transformed by human beings. The answer takes time.

Today, five years after the discovery of the underwater wonder/kloc-0 in Okinawa, people still can't agree on its origin. In Japan and the United States, there have been two different views on whether these structures are naturally formed or artificially built. Recently, this view is more likely to be built by humans.

The Okinawa ruins may or may not provide a clear basis for the existence of a vanished civilization, but the Egyptian archaeologist John West is convinced that such an ancient civilization once existed on the continental shelf along the Pacific coast and the Mediterranean coast. As for the mystery of Okinawa ruins, we will wait and see when the mystery of this disappearing civilization will be uncovered.

The mysterious underwater structure at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean

1958, American zoologist Dr. Van Rentan came to the Bahamas in the Atlantic Ocean for observation and research. Valentine is an excellent deep-sea diver. When he was exploring underwater, he accidentally found some strange buildings on the seabed near the Bahamas. These buildings are some strange geometric figures-regular polygons, circles, triangles, rectangles, and straight lines stretching for several nautical miles. Ten years later, at 1968, Dr. Valentine announced a new amazing discovery: in Baja.

A huge T-shaped stone wall with a length of 450 meters was found on the seabed near the island of Bebimini belonging to the Malvinas Islands. This huge stone wall is made of huge stones each exceeding one cubic meter. Stone walls also have two branches, at right angles to the main wall. Dr. Van Rentan was very excited. He continued to explore and soon found more complex building structures-platforms, roads, several docks and a trestle. The whole construction site seems to be an ancient underwater port.

The inventor of the "Pegasus" torpedo, French engineer and diver Hai Bikov came to the scene. He is a master of underwater photography. He used the latest technology at that time to survey this sea area and took some photos. After these photos were published, they caused a great sensation in the world.

1974, a Soviet research ship also came here, and made underwater photography and investigation, which once again proved the existence of these underwater structure sites.

Soon, the Bahamas was crowded with scientists, divers, journalists and explorers from all over the world. And there are more and more arguments around these underwater stone walls. Some geologists point out that these stone walls are only special natural structures, not man-made. But more scholars think it is artificial. Their views on who built these buildings are also quite different. Some people think that the Bahamas is not far from the Yucatan Peninsula, the hometown of Maya, so it may be an ancient building of prehistoric Maya, which sank into the water due to crustal changes. According to the time of land subsidence in Bahamian waters, it is estimated that these underwater structures were built between seven and eight thousand BC, so they should come from the builders of the ancient city of Tiwanaco in South America, but who was the builder of Tiwanaco is a mystery. It is also said that the late American prophet Keith predicted in 1945 that Atlantis would reappear in the waters north of Bimini Island in 1968 or 1969. Valentine's discovery just confirmed Keith's prediction, so this is the famous Atlantis that sank in BC. ..

Of course, more serious scientists refuse to judge according to predictions, but people can't give a more satisfactory explanation. We can only answer in general that these underwater structures are "possible candidates" and "quite old". As for who did it and when, no one can answer yet.

Seven mysterious underwater ancient cities in the world listed by American news media

Alexandria, an ancient underwater city in Egypt

Far from the coast of Alexandria, a port city in northern Egypt, a mysterious ancient city of Alexandria is located on the seabed. It is considered to be the ruins of Cleopatra's royal residence. It is likely that a huge earthquake 1500 years ago caused the ancient underwater city to sink to the bottom of the sea. Besides prehistoric artifacts and statues, there are also some palaces of Cleopatra. It is said that the city government of Alexandria had planned to provide miraculous sightseeing tours for this ancient underwater city.

"Huang Jincheng" in Cambay Bay, India

A few years ago, scientists discovered an ancient underwater relic 9,500 years ago in Indian waters. This mysterious underwater ancient city has a complete architectural structure and many human remains. More importantly, the discovery of this study has advanced the history of all archaeological discoveries in Kambe Bay, India by 5,000 years, enabling historians to better understand the history and culture of this area. It is said that this ancient underwater city was named "Devalka" or "Huang Jincheng" and was once considered as the underwater castle of the Indian god Krishna.

Kowampayo Lake Temple in Thailand

There is nothing unique about Kowampayo Lake in Thailand, but there is a Thai temple 500 years ago at the bottom of the lake. About 70 years ago, this underwater Thai temple really caught the attention of researchers. Recently, the relevant departments are discussing how to repair this ancient underwater temple, but it is estimated that it will cost billions of dollars. However, this ancient temple in Thailand sank to the bottom of the lake, but it became the habitat of fish, so many researchers suggested not to destroy the habitat of these fish.

Underwater pyramids of Japan and Nagano Island

More than 20 years ago, diving guides accidentally discovered an ancient relic on the seabed of Japan and Nagano Island. Later, scientists thought that there was probably a mysterious pyramid far from the Japanese coastline. This building structure has traces of carving at the bottom, but the tools used in its substructure were not considered to belong to ancient Japanese civilization before. At present, there are still many mysteries about this mysterious underwater pyramid.

Stonehenge ruins in Havana, Cuba

At present, a group of scientists are still investigating the mysterious remains on the seabed of the Yucatan Strait in Brazil. They found signs of urban environmental relics, which stretched for miles under the water. Many people think that the history of this once livable ruin may be earlier than the ancient American civilization. So far, only computer models can monitor the existence of mysterious underwater megalithic ruins.

Underwater landscape of the North Sea in Europe

In recent years, a large number of natural landscapes have been discovered on the seabed of the North Sea in Europe, and researchers have found that these landscapes may have existed for at least 654.38+0 billion years. These underwater natural landscapes used to flow with rivers, lakes and oceans, but now they lie quietly in the underwater world and can only be discovered through underwater survey and digital mapping. Scientists believe that the well-preserved underwater landscape at the bottom of the North Sea is the center of the ruins of ancient European civilization.

Will there be Atlantis in Antarctica?

Is the legendary mysterious Atlantis located in Antarctica? /kloc-More than 0/00 years ago, a museum curator in Istanbul, Turkey made an amazing discovery. By examining the ancient map on the gazelle's skin, he found a mysterious sign in Antarctica today. This map is one of the evidences that many scientists try to prove. Many people think that Antarctica is the legendary lost continent of Atlantis. In addition, the land environment recently discovered on the Antarctic seabed by sonar technology is very similar to the map system drawn by ancient cartographers, who hinted that Atlantis was far from the Mediterranean Sea.
