Ningde Series---Fuding Taimu Mountain

It’s really interesting to say that other graduate tutors hope that students will stay in school to study during the summer vacation. However, my tutor persuaded me and a junior sister to go traveling during the summer vacation, because he himself is a true travel enthusiast. , and even opened a school-wide public elective course "On the Self-Abuse of Travel" throughout the school. In fact, the teacher had helped me visit Ningde before. This time, I took my junior sister with me and decided to go to Ningde, which the teacher said was very cost-effective. I even got some small sponsorship from the teacher. The teacher was very enthusiastic about the little journey we were about to embark on, and said he could even take us to the train station.

?But at the beginning of September, I suddenly received the news that I had been shortlisted for the national competition in an entrepreneurial competition that I participated in. The notification time was really sudden. At that time, the national competition was only about 10 days away. Suddenly, there were a lot of competition materials to prepare, as well as the task of revising the project plan. Although the general content was prepared during the preliminary round, there are still many details that need to be improved. I didn’t have much competition experience, so I told my junior sister without thinking: I might not be able to travel, and finally told the teacher that we didn’t plan to go.

The teacher really surprised me again. He told me: There is still time if nothing happens. If you make a detailed plan, you should be able to finish the game in 3 or 4 days, and then go to participate in the competition. You can design it yourself first. route, and then write me a travel guide, and I will help you revise it. I didn't expect the teacher to come. Although I had been longing for this trip for a long time, I was still worried. After thinking about it again and again, I made up my mind to go! I spent a few days from morning to night preparing everything that I needed to prepare for the national competition. After confirming it, I handed over other tasks to the instructor to assign, and then started preparing my travel strategy.

The first stop in Ningde is Taimu Mountain. First, determine the outbound ticket (Xiamen North Station-Fuding Taimushan Station). If you are tight about tickets, buy a round-trip ticket in advance. Since the teacher took me and my junior sister to volunteer at the Xiamen Botanical Garden in the morning, I could only buy tickets for the afternoon. I bought a ticket to Fuding Taimu Mountain from 13:23-16:24 on September 10th.

It was already around 4:30 in the afternoon when we arrived at Fuding Taimushan Station. After leaving, there were only long-distance vans similar to buses available, but they were not expensive. I remember they cost 5 yuan per person. The train was very fast, and we arrived at the Taimu Mountain ticket office in about ten minutes. Maybe it was the beginning of school, but also because Taimu Mountain is not a very famous place. There was almost no one at the foot of Taimu Mountain. Only a dark-skinned, hunched-backed man wearing a shirt came to ask if he wanted to take us up the mountain in a car. I refused to leave with a flustered face, but someone said without any malice and kindly said that you just need to buy tickets and go through this road. It is recommended not to go on this kind of black car, because the road up the mountain is quite dangerous, with many twists and turns, and it is not safe. ensure.

The sun is still strong even in this month in Fujian. We held an umbrella and went to the ticket office. The ticket price was 130. There were only two of us in the ticket office of Nuo Da. I thought about the reason later: it was too late when we came to buy tickets. We usually come during the day, maybe go up to the top of the mountain and stay one night, and come down the next day. The original plan was to climb the mountain at 5 o'clock, go to the top of the mountain to stay one night at 7 or 8 o'clock, and watch the sunrise the next day. However: If you want to climb to the top, it is recommended to buy a ticket to go up the mountain before 2 o'clock at the latest! ! First of all, the ticket purchase office is not the starting point for climbing Taimu Mountain. After purchasing the ticket, a tour bus will take you on a winding mountain road for about 40 minutes to halfway up the mountain. That is the starting point for climbing Taimu Mountain. Secondly, there are two general directions for climbing Taimu Mountain. One direction is very far, but in order to visit all the scenic spots, it takes 3 or 4 hours to go back and forth, and there are too many caves. There is another road that can quickly go up the mountain, but the road is very steep and dangerous, with a cliff next to it. It is really not recommended to climb it after dark. Also remember to book accommodation in advance. If you are not in a hurry, there are many accommodation places at the starting point of Taimu Mountain. You can stay one night before climbing the mountain. But if you want to watch the sunrise, you must book accommodation at the top of the mountain. I booked Taimu Mountain at that time. The TV hostel on the top of the mountain is very cheap. My junior sister and I stayed in a room for 100 yuan a night. I won’t comment on the accommodation conditions when traveling. Since it was already very late when we arrived at the starting point and I was a little hungry, I planned to eat something and then contact the people at the Taimushan TV Guesthouse via WeChat. We were really leisurely, and we didn’t expect the dangers we would face climbing the mountain next...

It’s quite funny to share the chat record at that time. At the beginning of the leisurely conversation, the boss sent me a video of the sunrise. I watched it and felt full of anticipation. When we arrived at the parking lot of Taimu Mountain (that is, the starting point), we were going to visit the scenic spots before going up. At this time, the boss said firmly: Stop wandering, it will be the same tomorrow, so hurry up now. Then I told the boss that we should eat something before going up, but he told us not to eat, it was too late! I really wanted to laugh at the time, but later I felt that we were really seeking death.

However, we still walked around leisurely, took pictures :) and took pictures of the first scenic spot, Husband and Wife Peak.

But during this period, the owner of the guest house kept urging us to go up the mountain quickly, and we must not take the long route and take the shortcut. First, when we arrived at Guoxing Temple, there was the following road (Figure 2). We never knew whether to go straight or to the right. On the right is Guoxing Temple (Picture 3). Guoxing Temple is a temple that I like very much. It is naturally overdone. This old feeling always arouses my endless reverie.

We first went up a trail in the direction of Guoxing Temple and saw a pool of water. I took a photo and showed it to the boss, but the boss said it was not this way. Continuing along this road, I saw the wooden plank road (Picture 4). The boss said that I was on the wrong path and that it was the far road over there. The boss has always emphasized that there is a pavilion. Walk in the direction of the pavilion, but we really can't see the pavilion from our direction. Then I collapsed, so I went to Guoxing Temple and asked a monk how we were going to get there, but I couldn’t understand it. I think the monk himself didn’t know either. . .

Walked back and forth many times, looking for forked roads. After asking a few tourists who had come down from the mountain, I finally determined that going up along a trail next to Guoxing Temple is the right way. The first thing I saw when I walked up the path was a pool of water. There were fish swimming slowly with their tails in the pool, but there was no trace of the fish passing by. The water surface was just eerily quiet. The dark green color made it difficult for me to guess the depth of the pool. I just felt like I might fall in accidentally. Being able to be dragged to the bottom of the pond by a strong force may be an old carp that has become a spirit in this deep mountain old pond. After bypassing this small pool, turn left and go up, and gradually you can see the pavilion the boss mentioned, and Longtan Lake, another scenic spot in Taimu Mountain (Picture 5). Longtan Lake is surrounded by mountains and is dozens of times larger than the small pool. The atmosphere is no longer as gloomy as before. Instead, it is an open scene. I just want to sigh that it is really a good place for outstanding people and self-cultivation. This road is easy to walk. It is a man-made plank road. Just keep walking along the plank road, but to the right is a cliff covered with lush trees. It was too late. I met a couple on the road who were surprised that we were climbing so late at night. , even advised us not to go up, and finally told us to be careful.

Then, it was just the two of us the entire way up the mountain. I told my junior sister that if there were bad people in this place, there would be no way to escape. Junior sister expressed fear and asked me to stop talking. Just like this, all the way up, the physical strength is gradually exhausted. We were really exhausted after climbing up to the first line of sky (Picture 6). Fortunately, there was a platform (Picture 7), which was our first rest point. It was almost 6 o'clock at this time, and the sky had darkened, but the scenery at this time was actually unique. When night fell, you could still see the surrounding rocky landscape clearly, but the sun had already set, and At this time, the altitude was already a bit high, the surrounding air was getting cooler, and there was no trace of the heat at the foot of the mountain. At this time, in order to keep in touch with the owner of the guest house, the battery of the mobile phone has dropped. I don’t use it to take videos and photos anymore. I only use it when making contact.

Afterwards, I talked less and just felt thirsty. My junior sister is from Yunnan and is also thin. It felt easier than me to climb this mountain. For a large section of the road ahead, you almost have to use your hands and feet, and keep your center of gravity as low as possible to prevent yourself from rolling down the mountain easily. This section of the road was probably difficult for me. I took two steps and rested, and the water reached the bottom of the bottle. I am really grateful to my junior sister for donating her water to me. I also understand why the kindness in times of adversity will be remembered more deeply. After a long half hour, we came to a fork in the road (Picture 8) and headed towards Baiyun Temple. After that, the road was a little smoother, but it was also up and down and winding.

It was completely dark at this time (Picture 9), and nothing could be seen in the surrounding scenery. Only the small trees on both sides of the path and countless toads in the middle of the road could be seen. You can encounter one within two steps. There is a big, fat toad sitting in the middle of the road with a leisurely look. It is unmoved when people come. There are also lively and cute little toads that jump around. The fog was hazy, and I could feel the moist mist surrounding my body. With such a big mountain, we might be the only ones walking in the mountain at this time. After walking in the fog for a long time, I finally saw the house and the hope. There seemed to be a round light on the roof of the guest house, which looked like the moon from a distance.

When I entered the guest house, there were two tables eating. I could read the surprise on their expressions. It was already 7:30 and almost 8:00. We went upstairs to pack our things, and then the boss sent me a WeChat message asking if we wanted to eat, so we ordered a bowl of dumplings and a bowl of Fuding pork slices. The food at this time is delicious and refreshing. Standing on the second floor, you can see the courtyard of the guest house (Figure 10).

Afterwards, my junior sister and I washed up and prepared to go to bed. Unexpectedly, at this time, a manager of the Xiamen Botanical Garden volunteer activities asked me to share my experience. Since I didn’t have a computer, I wrote him a note on my mobile phone. It was already half past eleven when I finished writing. I checked the sunrise time for the next day, set the alarm clock, and fell asleep peacefully.

The next day, a pair of brothers visiting Taimu Mountain said they could wake us up. They were afraid that we had overslept, so they knocked on the door early in the morning. It's a bit scary. There may be one person who has a preconceived appearance, a lean and dark complexion, and is dressed like a gangster who idles around all day long. Maybe not, but in short, he is not the same type of person as us. Facts have proved that they are not bad, and they still have a sense of self-proclaimed chivalry. Early in the morning, we brushed our teeth hastily and got ready to watch the sunrise that we had longed for.

In addition to us, there were also the owner of the guest house, two brothers and a group of aunts. When we arrived, the sun had not come out at all, and we all chatted for a while. We were particularly impressed by the energy of these aunts, who persisted in climbing such a difficult mountain road. I hope that when I reach that age, I will not be paralyzed. It's better to be too lazy to move in bed. Then we looked into the distance, and the sky began to turn red. We knew the sun was about to come out, so we all stared at the distance, fearing to miss the fleeting scene.

Finally, the sun came out (Picture 11), everyone was posing for various photos, and everyone’s face was filled with joy. This moment made us feel that the hard work along the way was worth it. After watching the sunrise and coming back, the light at a fork in the road is particularly suitable for taking pictures (Picture 12)

After watching the sunrise, I came back to pack my things and prepare to go down another road to go down the mountain. I thought that going down the mountain should be an easy task. Sure enough, I thought too much again. The so-called going down the mountain is not "down" in the true sense, but sometimes up and sometimes down. There are many roads like Figure 13.

We also met a girl on the road. The girl had very fair skin. She chatted with us and said that she had been traveling for several days and was alone all the way. Later, due to the speed of the two of us, Slowly, the girl left alone in a hurry. It’s really interesting, I thought to myself: This girl is so brave.

There are really countless caves on the road. The most annoying thing is that you have no choice. You have to go through these holes. Some holes are so dark that you can’t see your fingers. The rocks are so low that you have to squat down to get through them. Many holes are tourist attractions, and there was one hole that stuck me. I had to take off my school bag and adjust my body angle to get through. The longest one is the scenic spot Hulu Cave, which is 1,500 meters long. Please be careful when entering (Figure 15). There are also many scenic spots on the way, just pick some according to the signs and maps. Except for various rocks (Taimu Mountain is just for looking at the rocks), the rest are temples. Since we had to go to Yushan Island in the afternoon, we couldn’t waste time and chose the sea view plank road to go down the mountain.

The sea view plank road is still worth seeing, just take the picture above. But the sea was so foggy that I couldn’t see the bird’s eye view of Yushan Island. I also saw colorful lizards or geckos, and I was already far away before I took out my phone to take pictures. I also saw a monk on the Guanhai Plank Road, "floating" leisurely in his monk's robes.

The road out from Guanhai Plank Road was particularly difficult to find. I walked in circles several times. I was already very sore from going up to the foot of the mountain yesterday. I was also very tired from walking around in the back. After that, I just wanted to go down the mountain quickly. I also saw a lot of giant salamanders in the small stream pool on the side of the mountain (Picture 16) when I went down the mountain. I was very excited. I felt that I hadn’t seen any giant salamanders since the second grade. Moreover, the giant salamanders have strict requirements for their living environment, so we can see them here. Seeing so many is enough to prove how well the ecology here is preserved. See picture. Even the woods are very beautiful, the kind that could be used in a movie. Eating spicy strips in the mountains is actually very enjoyable.

After eating spicy strips, our trip to Taimu Mountain is almost over. I only want to say one word for this trip: worth it.

There is no bus directly to Yujing Wharf after descending from Taimu Mountain. First, take a bus to Qinyu Town, then transfer from Qinyu Town to Yujing Village, and take a boat from Yujing Wharf to Yushan Island (pictured) ). Note: There will be no boats at Yujing Pier after 1:30, so be sure to arrange your time in advance. It happened to be a coincidence that people were not allowed to enter Yushan Island due to a typhoon the next day. We happened to be able to go in that day, so we were lucky.
