Take the "Tongqu Avenue" and view the "Two Buns Qinglan"

On January 4, 2020, nine hikers from the Wuxuan Hiking Group, including Pharmacist, Wandering, Bamien, Lotus, Mosquito, Qiushui, Yuhe, Luye, and Canghai, met to climb the Wuming Mountain in Dongxiang. Watch the "Two Buns Qinglan" and take the winding path called "Tongqu Avenue" on the way back. The scenery along the way is four stars and the difficulty is five stars.

Depart from Wuxuan County at 8:30 in the morning, stop at the "First Branch of Guizhong" in Dongxiang around 9:00, and then go to Dongxiang Street to taste Dongxiang's "the best in the fairy city is in Dongxiang, and the special rice noodles are fragrant everywhere" pink. We arrived at Tunying Fengjiu Temple at 9:30, parked in front of the temple, and started climbing.

Ba Mian has been to this mountain before. He said that the difficulty is two stars. It is indeed not too difficult. Most of them have traces of trails, but the steep places require both hands and feet to climb.

At 12 o’clock, we arrived at the Iron Tower. The surrounding scenery is good. Looking back are the fields and villages of Dongxiang, and the vast mountains can be seen to the northeast. Rest near the tower and take photos.

Keep walking, the road becomes more and more difficult and the scenery becomes more and more beautiful. From this side of the mountain, you can clearly see the beautiful scenery of "Two Buns Seiran".

"Double Bun Qinglan" is the first scene of Wuxuangu's "Eight Scenes". The ancient "eight sceneries" of Wuxuan (formerly known as Wuxian) include the double bun Qinglan, the three terraces of greenery, the sound of ancient moraine bells, the sound of pines in Linghu Lake, the legacy written on the stone wall, the remains of the immortal rock, the flowing spring in the sacred cave, and the repeated music of the sound mountain. Zhang Mengji, a Jinshi from Wuxuan in the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem about the Eight Scenes of Wuxuan:

The clear mist towers over the double buns in the blue sky, and the three terraces are stacked with emerald green and reflect the red clouds.

The dragons turn over the ancient moraine and the bells sound the rain, and the cranes dance in the pines of Linghu Lake.

Many of the suicide notes on the stone wall are written in bird seals, and the traces left on the fairy rock are half sealed with clouds.

Sit and watch the flowing springs in the sacred cave, and listen to the endless music played by Chueyin Mountain.

"Shuangji Qinglan" refers to the beautiful and colorful scenery of Shuangji Mountain located in Wuxuandong Township. Shuangji Mountain, with an altitude of 1016 meters, is the mountain at the junction of Wuxuan and Guiping City. Its main part is in Dongxiang Town, Wuxuan County. "Wuxuan County Chronicles" during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty records: "Shuangji Mountain is located in Dongxiang Shangli, sixty miles away from the city. The twin peaks are as high as buns. On clear days, there are mist and greenery. The eight scenic spots in the county are Shuangji Qinglan. At the foot of the mountain There is a rock, where Yin Erxie is reading. "The twin peaks of Shuangji Mountain are towering, shrouded in clouds and mist, and it is extremely beautiful.

Traveling through the beautiful scenery, I didn’t dare to stop too much because I was in a hurry. Along the way there are pine trees, bamboo forests, and clumps of rhododendron trees. In March, when the rhododendrons bloom, it will be a beautiful sight. We meet: the azaleas will bloom and they will come again.

At 3 pm, we successfully reached the summit. Looking around, you can see all the mountains and small mountains. All the hard work of climbing is nothing in front of the beautiful scenery.

According to the pre-planned plan, we should return the same way, but outdoor people don’t like to go back. The pharmacist suggested heading towards Zhuzixia, crossing to the “Tongqu Avenue”, and going down the mountain along the “Tongqu Avenue”.

The road down the mountain was steep and covered with wild trees and weeds, so we walked through the grass, crossed the bamboo forest, walked on steep slopes, and took the path that only monkeys dare to walk. After 5 pm, we overcame the difficulty of getting lost. Finally, we finally reached the "Tongqu Avenue". "Tongqu Avenue" is a naturally dangerous ancient road, commonly known as Dongxiang Boundary. It starts from Tunying Village, Dongxiang Town, at the foot of the Western Boundary, and ends at Hualei Village, Guiping City, at the foot of the Dongxiang Boundary. It is 30 miles long, 15 miles up the mountain, and 15 miles down the mountain. Dangerous and majestic, this ancient and dangerous road was once an important land transportation artery for Xunzhou, Wuzhou and Liuzhou from the mid-19th century of the Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China.

Arriving at the "Tongqu Avenue" is equivalent to getting on the highway. We successfully returned to the parking place at 18:30.
