Xu's innovative technology

Among the numerous remote sensing indexes in the world, few are created by Chinese mainland scholars. Through research, in recent years, three remote sensing indicators have been put forward in international remote sensing magazines, and a number of innovative technologies for remote sensing digital image processing have also been developed. For a long time, all kinds of remote sensing indexes in the world have been constructed by using the original multi-spectral band images, but the principles and forms of this construction have not changed obviously for decades, so that when encountering complex ground objects (such as building land), the traditional principles and methods of index construction seem helpless. Therefore, it is proposed for the first time to reduce the multi-spectral band to three thematic index bands, and use these three index bands (instead of the original band of the image) to construct the IBI building index. It breaks through the traditional index construction theory and method, and greatly improves the extraction accuracy of construction land (up to 98%). The achievement was published in international remote sensing magazines such as photo gramming remote sens and int j remote sens, and the latter published its 9-page paper as a "newsletter" with only 3-5 pages, showing the importance attached to the achievement. Belgian scholars evaluated the correlation between 15 remote sensing index and surface temperature, and IBI index ranked 1 in all categories. At the same time, 1 was also obtained in the correlation evaluation with vegetation index. VerticalNews, an American science and technology media, reported this technology with the title of "Remote Sensing Research from Fuzhou University".

For high-resolution and medium-resolution images, the enhancement and extraction technologies of impervious surface information are developed respectively. This technology does not need to pre-mask and pre-process noise information such as water and soil, and solves the common problems in foreign methods. Professor Congarden, editor-in-chief of photogrammeng Remote Sens, the magazine of American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and founder of Kappa accuracy evaluation, evaluated this manuscript with "excellent writing". VerticalNews, an American science and technology media, reported this technology with the title "Recent research of Fuzhou University adds new data to remote sensing".

The resolution of the existing thermal infrared satellite image data is about 100 m, which can not meet the actual needs of urban thermal environment research. In view of this situation, the thermal infrared image thinning technology is developed, which improves the resolution of 100m thermal infrared image to the meter level, which is nearly 1000 times higher than the highest thinning level reported in the world (10m). This technology can detect the temperature of each building and monitor the urban point heat source, which greatly improves the practical value of satellite thermal infrared technology.

This technology creates an enhanced model of hydrothermal alteration information of Qingpanyan, so that the green channels in the alteration image synthesized by RGB can be displayed as real mineralization information, instead of adding the mineralization information of red and blue channels widely used abroad, which enriches the types of hydrothermal alteration information enhancement and extraction.
