How to draw an angled perspective?
Preparation materials: pens, photos of unmanned buildings.
1. First, find an architectural photo that doesn't directly face people. The left and right sides of the building are oblique to the line of sight.
2. Draw the outline of the building along its outer contour.
3. Extend the contour lines on the left and right sides, and find that the contour lines on both sides will converge to two or vanishing points respectively.
4. Connect the vanishing points on the left and right sides, and you will get a straight line, which is the apparent horizon, that is, the height of the human eye.
5. Remove the background photos and get the perspective sketch of the building. Obviously, it is a cuboid. In future exercises, you can draw directly on white paper without a background picture.
Problems needing attention in two-point perspective
1, the positioning of the true height line, the true height line of the two-point perspective space (the turning line of two walls) belongs to the farthest line of the picture, so don't draw it too long to avoid drawing nearby objects, which generally accounts for about 1/3 in the middle of the paper. If the true height line is positioned too long, the composition will be crowded, and the nearby objects cannot be fully described, and the sense of space depth is weak. Reasonable arrangement of the position and size of the true height line can fully represent the whole space and fully reflect the sense of depth.
2. The inclination of the perspective line of the wall. It should be noted here that because the horizon is located at the lower part of the center line of the true height line, the inclination of the two perspective lines on the ceiling is larger, while the inclination of the two perspective lines on the ground is smaller.
3. The vanishing point of two-point perspective is very important. Generally speaking, the two vanishing points should be located slightly away from the true height line. If they are too close together, the drawn graphics will be distorted in perspective.
