This village with a history of 100 years is located at the foot of Wuxiang Mountain in Lishui District, Nanjing. Whenever night falls, it lights up in the packages of mountains and seas. ...

Walking into the village, brick houses, stone floors, tile roofs, bamboo fences ... everything looks natural and primitive, just like our hometown in memory and our childhood home. In fact, it is a rural boutique hotel-"among the flowers, there is no desire to live in the mountains."

This is designer Yu Ping's first "whole system design" project integrating architecture, interior and landscape. In 20 17, when he first came to Tangjiaan village (the project site), most of the houses had become dangerous buildings, but Yu Ping smelled the air like brewing and saw picturesque scenery.

After inspecting the project, a village "hidden in the bamboo sea and hanging from the treetops" was outlined. Yu Ping said that since the design was made on rural land, we should be awed by the countryside: the whole building should inherit the architectural characteristics of "mainly stones, blue bricks and gray tiles" in the mountainous areas of the south of the Yangtze River, "use local materials", use recycled old wood, bricks, tiles and slabs as building materials, and restore the proper density and scattered features of residential villages.

"Because I am an interior designer, the design idea is to start with interior design, and use the final result to reverse architectural design, making it interrelated and reflective. Let the sun shine in, let the air circulate and open every window conveniently' is my design principle for many years, and this project is no exception. In an environment, the essence of architecture is good only if there is plenty of sunshine and fresh air. If something goes wrong with these things, everything else that is beautified is just fur. "

"Another key issue is mosquitoes. The local climate is humid, which breeds the growth of mosquitoes and flies. This seems to be a subtle problem, but it will actually affect the user experience and even hotel management. How to drive mosquitoes and flies by design? One way is to reduce the entrance of the building, so we connect the independent buildings with corridors to make them an organic whole. "

In architectural design, in order to reduce energy consumption, Yu Pinghe and his team adopted the method of combining modern "passive building" technology with traditional residential building technology: firstly, the wall thickness was increased to 400mm, and the top was covered with a stuffy roof, which played the role of thermal insulation, and the bottom was overhead to prevent moisture; At the same time, after comprehensively considering various factors such as sightseeing and sunshine. , determined the appropriate window size, and adopted the heat insulation window.

When the old village was demolished, based on the principle of "as long as it can be preserved, it will be preserved with all its strength", 1 building with a century-old small stone house, 2 stone tile houses and 3 private houses were preserved; Of the more than 200,000 pieces of waste removed, stones larger than fists and more than half of bricks were all recovered and all were reprocessed by ball milling technology.

The shape of the house inherits the practicality of the folk houses, and those spiritual and meaningless shapes, such as the sculpture on the roof and the mural on the wall, have been removed, making the architectural form more beautiful and concise.

Restore the true form of residential buildings in architectural details, such as green and red staggered roofs, brick walls with different shades, and plaster under eaves ... as if they were all naturally made in the past years. Yu Ping said: "This is a design reconstruction after absorbing the characteristics of folk houses all over the country. I hope that once the village is completed, it will be a century-old village. "

After two years of construction, the "Wuxiang Mountain Residence" covering an area of 42 mu was finally "born" in 20 19. The old and new houses add up to 26, and Yu Ping named five of them as earth seats, wooden seats, brick seats, tile seats and stone seats. At the beginning, those old houses that were not demolished were all "mixed" in the new building, and it was impossible to tell which was new and which was old.

Strolling among them, this "century-old village" is simple and clumsy, which brings great peace of mind and practicality.

Stepping into the room, the temperament just now has completely changed. Earth, wood, brick, tile and stone have been recombined to become avant-garde and fashionable in space.

The ground does not deliberately pursue flatness, but goes with the flow and naturally fluctuates; Stair handrails, corners and other angular places are polished smoothly and roundly.

There is a threshold about 180mm high at the door of the guest room. In addition to blocking small reptiles, guests should also experience the feeling of "crossing" because you have finally arrived.

The room atmosphere is modest and soft, and the wood is natural pine, which is not dyed or painted. The ceiling fan above the head spits out the old and absorbs the new, and the air is always fresh; Cotton and linen cushions are used as wardrobe backrest, bamboo paper as lampshade ... There is no cabinet in the room, all of which are "embedded design", which is very free and convenient to use and take.

Due to the full passive architectural design, the house has the ability of "self-temperature adjustment". In hot summer, the indoor temperature is kept between 23-27 degrees, which obviously reduces the utilization rate of air conditioning.

There is a corridor between the two floors when you leave the house. You can feel the cool breeze every time you go. If it rains, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery around you.

In landscape design, Yu Ping adopted the principle of "using local materials": using ready-made bamboo as a fence, paving paths with slates recycled from nearby villages, piling bricks in front of and behind each family's house ... Even the lighting is a pole street lamp, just like the village where we lived when we were young ... Every detail is taken from the real scene of the residential community without a useless decoration.

There is also an old school in the village. The herringbone roof and neat wooden tables and chairs will make your thoughts start to flow backwards. Do you think of the teacher who once showed you the textbook, or the deskmate who sat on a bench with you and drew the 38th parallel? !

There is a dirt playground in the yard, playing basketball, bungee jumping, rolling hoop and throwing sandbags. ...

An old house has been transformed into a village history museum. Old photos and old furniture all look like the homes of villagers in those days. The warmth in time is reproduced through design.

In the eye, traditional villages are the root of China culture. Every brick and tile has the changes of years, and every grass and tree has the mountains and rivers of its hometown. They are scattered in the mountains and rivers like pearls, engraved with cultural memories and entrusted with deep homesickness.

"I like bamboo. A single bamboo is difficult to support, but together it can gather sand into the sea; I also like tiles. A tile is inconspicuous, but a pile of tiles can be the eaves of a family. Thousands of tiles can' shelter' a village, and thousands of villages in Qian Qian are connected together. This is the civilization of our nation for thousands of years. "

Under the care of bamboo tiles, Wuxiang Mountain has returned to the past. There is no noise and noise here, only fragrant rice, frogs, flowing rivers and wind blowing bamboo forests. ...

Dreamless mountain residence belongs to the future. As time goes by, moss will emerge from the cracks in the tiles, the walls will be covered with green plants, and new legends will be written on the old bricks. ...

This "century-old village", which is hidden in the bamboo sea and hung on the tree, will become more and more beautiful with the growth of age.
