Who is Bruce Barnbaum?

Bruce Barnbaum, in the1960s, Bruce entered the field of photography as a fanatic. For more than forty years, photography has been his whole-hearted work. Bruce is recognized as one of the most proficient darkroom developers in the world, whether from his excellent black-and-white photography or his color application images. His understanding of light is almost unparalleled. He integrated this understanding into composition and used rich photography skills to shoot a very wide range of subjects.

Bruce often writes for some photography magazines: his column "Master Printing Class" is published in every issue of the world's top photography magazine "Photography Technology". LensWork, an old professional photography periodical in the United States, also regularly publishes his articles and reports, including his 1998 portfolio, five intaglio photos obtained by his research on several cathedrals in Britain, and his "Cracked Canyon" portfolio. In the United States and Canada, at least a dozen art galleries have handled his works; Moreover, his works can also be seen in museums in many parts of the world or as private collections.

Bruce became a famous photographer, educator and pioneer through his workshops, papers, speeches, textbooks and innovative photography/music combinations. He is the author of Plateau and Canyon, Yin Shi II (1.2) and Visual Symphony.
