How to use focusing skills

The method of using focusing technique to achieve ideal focusing effect is as follows: 1. Select the autofocus point that makes the camera move the least after focusing, and then select the autofocus point closest to the eye from the widely distributed autofocus points in the viewfinder to focus. After focusing, the lighter the camera moves to correct the composition, the smaller the chance of losing focus. If you move the camera composition after using the center to lock the focus, the focus shift (cosine error) as shown in the figure will appear. The closer the subject is to the lens, the greater the error, so pay more attention. The method of combining various functions of different models to achieve more accurate focusing and using autofocus has changed a lot in recent years. In the past, it was usually focused through the autofocus point in the center of the viewfinder, and then the camera was moved to lock the focus to determine the composition. But now, the ranging accuracy of the autofocus point outside the central focus has been improved, so the method of focusing by manually selecting the autofocus point has become the mainstream. Using this method, the occurrence of cosine error can be suppressed, and higher precision focusing can be realized. Users should get used to using the manual autofocus point selection function of their own cameras and practice more to reach the level of quick selection as soon as possible. Compared with the model equipped with 35mm Quan Huafu image sensor, the model equipped with APS-C image sensor has a wider autofocus area for the display range (shooting range) of the viewfinder. Therefore, when using autofocus, APS-C model has more advantages than 35mm Quan Huafu model in generating cosine error, but surprisingly, few people know it. 2. Changing ISO sensitivity to prevent jitter is much more unexpected than letting it happen before it happens. Proper ISO sensitivity should be used to deal with subject jitter, which is an important reason for the failure of portrait photography, second only to out of focus. The emergence of the image stabilizer mechanism greatly reduces the hand shake phenomenon, perhaps because of this sense of security, photographers often do not notice the occurrence of subject shake. The theme of portrait photography is people. Even if the subjects were told not to move, those unconscious movements could not be completely eliminated. Even the blink of an eye always happens at an alarming rate. In order to solidify the theme ldquo on the photo, we should improve the ISO sensitivity and get a high-speed shutter. 3. Grasp the appropriate shooting rhythm, effectively capture the charming expression of the subject, make a rhythmic continuous shooting, and capture the ideal focus and expression. When taking portrait photography, we must pay attention to many matters, such as the expression of people and the focus position. If you are in focus but your expression is poor, or just the opposite, it is not a successful portrait photo. In order to reduce the failure, one pose should take multiple photos. Auto focus and continuous shooting can be done in groups of 3 people. Re-focusing every time a photo is taken may not get the ideal focus, and it is difficult for photographers to master the shooting rhythm. Using about 3 continuous shooting at a time can make the model enter the state faster, thus capturing the satisfied expression and getting the ideal focus. I hope the photographer can shoot rhythmically and reduce the risk of failure.
