Itineraries suitable for honeymoon travel in May
I personally have been to many places, but my favorite is still in Yunnan
Yunnan is like spring all year round. It is fun no matter what month you go. You can only visit 1-2 places in Yunnan in a week. It is impossible to visit places such as Dali and other places in Lijiang. Unless it is a casual trip, you may be able to visit a few more places, but I personally think that kind of travel is of little significance.
Also, it is best to choose self-guided travel (that is, find a travel agency to help you book transportation and accommodation, and do the rest when you go to the local area). If you go with a group, on the one hand, you are not free, and on the other hand, it is a group itinerary. The arrangement is too compact. Although the scenery and climate in Yunnan are relatively good, the tight itinerary will make you feel very tired.
Let me tell you about a self-guided tour of Yunnan
The climate in Yunnan is very good, but the temperature difference between morning and evening is huge, so be sure to bring some thick clothes. The ultraviolet rays are very strong, so you need to wear sunscreen, otherwise I guarantee that your skin will turn darker after staying in Yunnan for a week.
It is best to start from Kunming. Kunming is the provincial capital, with convenient transportation and many places to play.
For example, Ethnic Village, World Expo Circle, Stone Forest, and Dianchi Lake. Yuantong Temple (except Stone Forest, these are all in the urban area, very convenient), and Cuihu Park. It is best to go in March. There are tens of thousands of seagulls flying from Siberia, which is very nice.
The most famous thing in Yunnan is Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles. I don’t need to say this. Yunnan fungi, bait, rolled noodles, roasted tofu, and fried insects (the insects look a little disgusting, but they are very nutritious. I ate mosquitoes in Lijiang, they were huge...)
< p>Our family’s independent route usually takes us from Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Shangri-LaThis saves money and avoids detours.
The more famous scenic spots in Dali are Cangshan Erhai Lake, Dali Ancient City, Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, and Butterfly Spring. If you are interested, go and see Foreigner Street.
As for diet, Maoxuewang (that is, chili pig blood) is good.
Specialties are: marble crafts, tie-dye. Carved Plum Blossoms (This is very technical and tastes good)
I like Lijiang very much. Lijiang Old Town (highly recommended) is very unique. There is running water in the streets, alleys and in front of every house. It is very comfortable. To go to any shop, walk on a simple wooden bridge. And there are bacteria growing on some bridges, which is interesting.
Sifang Street is a very famous food street, just inside the ancient city. It mainly sells clay pot rice and rice noodles. I like the inns in the ancient city. The courtyard style is very beautiful. The main thing in the ancient city at night is to drink beer and drink. There are many foreigners in the bars. If you have the guts, go and chat with them.
Lugu Lake is a freshwater lake with a very good environment. It’s a good time to go there now. The temperature is about 20 degrees and it rarely rains, but it doesn’t seem to be much fun.
The wind in Tiger Leaping Gorge is strong, so be careful not to blow away your belongings. Once, my hat blew into the Jinsha River. . . Fortunately it's not money in your pocket. . .
But it is really very impressive, with canyons on both sides and a huge rock in the middle. What a torrent. . . There are also legends about this Hutiao Gorge.
Go rafting if you are interested and brave, it is super exciting! !
You can go up to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain by cableway. I remember it was 100 yuan per person. I don’t know if the price has increased now. . . The air above is fresh, and there is a spruce flat on the mountain. There is grassland for one kilometer, and you can ride a horse for a while~
After taking the cableway, we went to climb Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Walk along that wooden plank bridge, but be careful of the slippery slope! As we walked, we saw more than one person fall down, get up, fall down, and get up again. . . ah! If necessary, you will need to rent cold-proof clothing and oxygen bottles.
It usually snows on the mountains, and if you are lucky, you can see glaciers. The glaciers in the sun are so beautiful! So spectacular!
Shangri-La in Diqing. I personally think that the above places are not as good as here ~ grassland, snow-capped mountains, river valleys. . . In fact, Tiger Leaping Gorge should be included in Diqing. . .
There are too many beautiful scenic spots ~ I said slowly=V=
As for the climate, this season generally does not exceed 20 degrees during the day and is very cold at night. Pay attention to adding clothes.
It is best to bring some antifreeze and other medicines.
It takes about 5 hours from Lijiang to Zhongdian. If you get motion sickness, be sure to bring motion sickness medicine.
By the way, you can see the first bay of the Yangtze River on the way, and if you are lucky, you can also find a few fossils on the side of the road (I heard from others... I have never found one ==||
No need for food. It’s definitely yak meat! Find a restaurant in Tibet, the fried yak meat is delicious!
But forget it if you can’t stand the fishy smell, but you rarely have the chance to eat it in the city. Absolutely pollution-free beef.
Yaks eat grass on the plateau and drink water from the snow-capped mountains. The meat is very good. You can buy packaged yak meat and take it home to enjoy. There are also more expensive ones between 30 and 30 yuan, it’s up to you.
On the road, you can see some Tibetans selling yak tails. I hang a white tail in my room. The price is above 100. You can negotiate with the seller.
Attractions: Bitahai, Baishui Terrace (this one is very unique), Dongzhulin Temple, Songzanlin Temple (this one is known as the "Little Potala Palace" ).
You can enter the temple. I can’t remember whether to buy a ticket. The structures of the houses are very unique and Tibetan. The monks inside are very friendly and will smile when they see tourists. , some even put their hands together to salute you, and of course you can also turn around. . Dongdong)
I highly recommend Meili Snow Mountain! >V<
Simply speaking, it is a snow mountain, but if you go to Meili Snow Mountain, then Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is so white! Snow mountains are boring. (I think~)
There are thirteen peaks in Meili Snow Mountain, and the highest peak in the middle is called 'Kagebo'. It seems to be the highest peak in Yunnan.
I heard from the locals that fourteen Japanese mountaineers died there before, but no one seems to have climbed there.
Many people came to visit Meili Snow Mountain during the holidays, and some even stayed there for ten days. Half a month. Just to see the true face of the snow mountain. If you are here specifically to see it, I advise you to stay for a few more days. It is not easy to see it~
But once the snow mountain is It’s so beautiful when you come out. It’s not far away in front of you. I feel like you’re so small when you see the snowy mountains. If you have enough time, just stay there for a few days~=V=
Don’t live at the foot of the snowy mountain. Photographers will stay in a few hotels on the roadside when the snowy mountain is not visible. Exchange photography experiences, listen to Tibetan people singing in the tent, drink milk tea, and dance together if you feel like it.
The specialty here is matsutake mushrooms, which are very nutritious. They are found in the mountains.
If you settle down and the snow-capped mountains don’t show up, go for a walk in the mountains the next morning after the rain stops. It’s best to go and find a bag with a branch. Mushrooms, and you may also find matsutake.
I once went to the mountains with Tibetans and picked a big bag of mushrooms, and I also found a matsutake. Later, everyone shared the soup and drank it.
If you are just passing by, then take a look at the white pagoda and golden flags here, which are quite good. Whether you can see the snow-capped mountains depends on your luck. Going to Mingyong Glacier is also a good choice.
Shangri-La can be said to be the most beautiful place in Yunnan.
Bitahai is the largest grassland in the area~
Yaks and sheep on the grassland. Wild flowers on the ground. If you come in October, you can also see the leaves on the roadside turning red and golden. Beautiful~~
But! ! Be sure to watch your step! ! Don’t step in yak or sheep excrement! !
From a distance, the yaks and sheep on the large grassland feel too comfortable, but up close, the ground is... . . .
Okay, I’ve told you my deeper memories of these places in Yunnan, hoping it can help you~=V=(My hands are so sore...TAT)< /p>
Speaking of costs. . . It would be best for you to bring around two to three thousand. Not including fare! Generally speaking, if you travel in Yunnan, you will spend about 6,000 to 8,000 yuan including transportation.
Bring all the medicines you should bring. Sun protection, anti-freeze, anti-allergy. . .
Beware of scammers! If someone sees that you are a foreign tourist, they will try to trick you! You must discuss it carefully~ Some people will pretend not to understand what you are saying and just lie to you casually. (I have encountered this a few times...but I have not been fooled) Be vigilant! !
In fact, the local people are very hospitable.
Of course, if you don’t like to go to Yunnan, there is another place I recommend, which is Thailand.
It’s really good there! !
Thailand has a tropical monsoon climate and the temperature is as good as summer. I just came back.
There are many places to visit in Thailand. If you are in Bangkok, you can go to the Grand Palace. It’s very unique. Then you can experience Bangkok’s light rail. You can go to Bangkok’s night market on weekend nights. Bangkok’s Erawan Shrine and Siam Square are all must-go places. As for other places in Thailand, consider Chiang Mai (the second largest city in Thailand), Pattaya (the seaside, the scenery is very good, you must go to the floating market in Pattaya, and the famous Du Lala Promotion is (filmed there), and Phuket, etc.
Of course, if you have a big budget, Greece and Bali are all pretty good.
Are you going to go domestically or abroad?
If you want to go If you are abroad, I can help you with more details and then recommend foreign ones
