Ask for the introduction of Denmark Pavilion in Shanghai World Expo.
Basic information
Theme of the venue: City of Dreams
National Pavilion Day: June 29th
Coverage: 3000 square meters
Location of exhibition hall: Area C.
general situation
The exhibition hall is composed of two circular tracks, forming indoor and outdoor parts. Seen from the top, it looks like a spiral, which goes beyond the traditional exhibition form and brings the feeling of constantly shuttling between indoor and outdoor. The pavilion is like an open fairy tale book, divided into How Do We Live? How do we entertain? The chapter "How do we conceive the future" introduces Danes' daily life, hobbies and prospects for the future. Denmark's symbol and famous sculpture "The Little Mermaid" went abroad for the first time and was placed in the center of the Danish Pavilion, making visitors feel as if they were in Andersen's children's kingdom.
architectural appearance
The whole building is a huge tubular steel structure, just like the hull of a steel ship. The facade of the exhibition hall is the most economical and energy-saving part of the building. The holes in the facade allow sunlight to shine into the room, which contributes to natural ventilation. Each hole is equipped with LED light source, which can not only adjust the light in the venue, but also illuminate the fa? ade at night. Therefore, the facade of the Danish Pavilion is like an abstract light and shadow pattern, which reflects an endless stream of people, bicycles and pressure in the steel wall. ?
