Lead: There is not much difference between landscape photography and other types of photography. The improvements that can be discussed mainly include three major directions: composition, skills and equipment. This time, let's talk about what is worth paying attention to in these three directions.

Composition article

Landscape photography often needs to contain a lot of environmental content in photos, so it is the most basic but important element of landscape photography to make good use of different composition methods to arrange the subject matter in photos.

1. Three-point composition

Trigonometric composition is a very traditional composition method, which mainly divides photos into three equal parts (from top to bottom/from left to right), and then arranges different environmental contents in different parts. In the photo above, we can see that the sky, mountains and wilderness are arranged in three parts from top to bottom.

2. Central component

Arrange the theme in the center of the photo. Pay attention to the background outside the subject. It's better to be concise, so as to highlight the main body. In the above picture, the salted egg yolk is placed in the center of the photo, and a bridge is used as a simple guide line, so that the viewer's line of sight extends all the way along the bridge to the intoxicating sunset.

3. Diagonal composition

Usually when shooting scenery, we will take the horizontal horizon or horizontal line for composition. But you can also try to express other landscape themes in diagonal form (of course, don't make the camera gesture wrong to make the viewer feel inclined), so that the viewer's line of sight can move along the line and set off the beauty of the main line.

4. Extreme composition

Jump out of the box of traditional composition methods and let the theme only take up a small part of the composition. Very conducive to the atmosphere of the deductive environment.

5. Foreground, Intermediate Scene and Background Scene

In the variant version of three-point composition, the layout of environmental content is not from top to bottom or from bottom to top, but from front to back, which makes the photo more perspective and spatial. You can see that the plane, clouds, sky and ship, sea and sky in the above picture are arranged in the front, middle and back scenes respectively.
