Photographer, Director of the Office of the Provincial Language and Literature Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. Male, born in April 1954, Han nationality, master's degree candidate, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently the director of the Office of the Provincial Language and Literature Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education.

The photos of Gongga Mountain taken by Lin Qiang were selected into the "Contemporary Chinese Cultural Famous Thematic Stamps". He photographed natural scenery and never forgot to seek benefits for the masses. He walked the most dangerous road and was one of the first people to promote Gongga Mountain to the world. Through his lens, he promoted the tourism development of scenic spots such as Gongga Mountain and Hailuogou.

Lin Qiang joined the army in 1973 and was awarded second-class merit once and third-class merit three times in the army. In 1987, he transferred to the Sports, Health and Arts Division of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. He served as deputy director in 1989, director in 1992, and director of the Sichuan Provincial Language Working Committee Office in July 2005. Based on his own work, Lin Qiang is proud to serve the people. He actively strives for government funding and social assistance, and donated tens of thousands of yuan in royalties from his own photography albums to build a leprosy village in Abuloha, Wuyi Township, Butuo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. The Hope Primary School has enabled the village to hear the sound of children reading for the first time since the 1960s. He pays attention to the development of education in impoverished mountainous areas, conducts research on compulsory education and the education of children with AIDS in impoverished mountainous areas, and has secured more than 100,000 US dollars in international project assistance in an effort to improve educational conditions. Lin Qiang picked up a camera in the 1980s and photographed a large number of beautiful scenery in the western region, contributing to the tourism development of many scenic spots in Sichuan Province

He also used his camera to record the situation in leprosy villages for a long time. , whose photographic works reflect high social and artistic value. Lin Qiang officially joined the China Photographers Association in December 2004.

On June 20, 2012, the "Tibet Autonomous Region and Four Provinces" event was hosted by the Office of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, the Information Bureau of the General Office of the CPPCC National Committee, and the Chahar Society, and hosted by the "Tibet Human Geography" magazine. "Exhibition of Outstanding Photographic Works from Tibetan Areas" was held in Beijing. Lin Qiang's work won the gold medal.
