Performance experience
/kloc-when he was 0/4 years old, his father died in a car accident, and Nim gave up his studies and went to work in the famous ElstreeStudios. Because of his outstanding performance, he was quickly promoted to be a photographer, and participated in the filming of "gaunt stranger" and "battlefield evaporation" successively.
1942 was nominated for the Best Special Effects Award for Evaporation in the Battlefield.
After switching to directing, Nim shot many works with personal style, such as One Million Pounds, Poseidon in distress, Miss Jane Brody's Youth, Goddess Madness and so on.
The most familiar one is 1972 disaster film Poseidon in distress. The film describes that the cruise ship Poseidon was overturned by a big storm on New Year's Eve, and a large number of passengers on board tried their best to escape. Among them, a group of people, led by Pastor gene hackman, helped Qi Xin climb to the surface and became one of the few survivors who overcame the disaster. In the film, Nim uses the lens to show the deep human touch in the shipwreck, especially the most touching part of Shelley Winters' heroic diving, which can be called the first disaster film.
