Lei Yu, 1977, a native of Chengde, Hebei Province, was born in Tianjin. Graduated from Beijing Film Academy, majoring in photography, majoring in graphic design in Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, and bachelor of journalism in China Communication University.

Chairman Yu Junhai, a famous photographer in China, and Mr. Lei Yu are father and son. Influenced by his father, Chairman Yu Junhai, Mr. Lei Yu's photographic works are famous for showing the scenery of Chengde Royal Garden and surrounding temples, Jinshanling Great Wall and Bashang Grassland. Lei Yu's photography style is magnificent, his photos are well-made, and his creative concept is unique. His works are defined as new classic landscape works by China Photographers Association, and have won many awards in major competitions. In 2007, Xue Ji won the Excellent Works Award in the 22nd National Photography Art Exhibition, and 20 13 "Horse Swallow" and multimedia work "The Red Scarf Falling" won the Excellent Works Award in the 24th National Photography Art Exhibition. His works have also been exhibited and exchanged in the United States, South Korea, Japan, Turkey and other countries.
