Can steel be transparent?

Whether an object is transparent or not is mainly determined by two aspects. One is its own texture. The higher the light transmittance of an object, the more transparent it is. The second is the light. The stronger the light, the higher the penetration rate, and the greater the chance that the object will appear transparent.

We all know that objects are made of crystals, which can be colored or colorless. Objects made of colorless crystals are transparent, while objects made of colored crystals are generally opaque. The darker the color, the higher the opacity. In fact, in nature, 100% colorless objects do not exist. So the key to their color presentation is the number of piles. If they are so small that they are almost indistinguishable to the naked eye, they can be ignored. They are transparent. If the colors are superimposed to a certain extent, light cannot pass through and they become opaque.

So in theory, steel is divided to a certain extent, thin and transparent.
