The spatial agglomeration characteristics of rural settlements with normal distribution with altitude are mainly concentrated in the range of 200~600m; Under different slopes, most rural settlements are distributed in gentle slope areas with slopes less than15, and the settlements in these areas expand obviously; The closer to the river/highway, the larger and more rural settlements are, and there is a trend of concentrated contiguous distribution around the river/highway.

The dense water source conditions of river network form the spatial pattern of rural settlements living by water, flood control and drought avoidance; The rapid growth of population, the construction of new countryside, the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization and the concept of institutional culture are the humanistic factors that restrict the spatial distribution and evolution of rural settlements.
