Emei Mountain Winter Travel Guide
2. Emei Mountain Scenic Area takes two days, and you can stay in the city one day in advance. You can go to Leshan Giant Buddha or Zhou Bianyou in Emei for the rest of the day.
3. Reference route:
On the first day in Emei, I stayed in Emei City (the standard room is usually 180 a night, with dozens of rooms in budget hotels and expensive luxury rooms in star hotels. Most importantly, there is a room in Hongzhushan Hotel where Jiang Zhongzheng lived. . ) Eat delicious food and eat a lot in downtown Emei. Recommend snacks such as bean curd, Cao bean jelly, restaurants that smell good when you smile, and delicious street food is also good. Try bangbangji, fried duck and smoked duck! Every time I go back to school, my roommate will call the roll. Emei is a small city. On the first day of renovation, you can visit the Great Buddha Temple on the edge of the city (ticket season is 50, minimum1above 0 yuan).
The next day, catch the bus at the fountain to the foot of the scenic spot, transfer to the parking lot of Wannian Temple in Mid-levels, buy a mountain ticket 160 and start climbing, and the student ID card will be discounted. It is recommended to buy two or two bamboo crutches (necessary for climbing mountains and driving monkeys), pay attention to safety when passing through the monkey mountain, especially personal belongings, and be calm and don't panic when passing by the monkey; Don't be timid when feeding the monkey, otherwise the monkey won't think you are afraid, but will think that you deliberately tease him with food and get angry. There are not so many monkeys in winter as in summer. But the Tibetan macaques in the snow scene are very beautiful in photography! Lunch is settled in the farmhouse on the hillside, and one person can spend the night on Ping. There are many hotels here that don't need to be booked, and the prices are medium to high. I took my roommate up the mountain the year before last. The standard room here is less than 200, but the price will change in winter and summer. Besides, you can live in the side hall of the temple. The conditions are the same as those of the youth brigade. Better than youth travel, there are bathhouses and vegetarian meals. The price is cheap but relatively simple.
At 4: 00 or 5: 00 on the third day, I need to get up and hurry, and keep climbing for about two hours with a flashlight. You can get to the place where you can take the Jinding cableway and queue up to take the cableway. Then wait for Jinding to enjoy the sunrise or the sea of clouds. Everything in Jinding is expensive. After all, the transportation is hard, but the food is good. I can buy a round-trip ropeway because my legs are sore the day before. Although the ropeway is not long, it is best to choose the ropeway that catches the sunrise on Jinding, and usually the legs will be more sour when you come back down the stairs. (It's easier to get up than down) Then take a bus to the Guobao Temple parking lot at the foot of Dongleiping parking lot, where there are Guobao Temple and Khufu Temple, as well as Emei Mountain Museum (free of charge). At this time, it will be noon at most. In the afternoon, you can choose the nearby hot springs (Exiu Lake, Hongzhushan Hotel, etc.). ). The hot spring depends on what soup you ran, about 200. I wonder if it has gone up again now.
After soaking in hot springs, consider transferring to Leshan and staying in Leshan that night. Leshan has Xiba tofu, Sanjiang fish and so on. The dishes in Leshan and Emei are very famous, generally spicy and much more delicious than those listed in Chengdu. Take a taxi from Leshan to Emei, one person 15, and the bus is also the same price)
On the fourth day, I visited Leshan Giant Buddha in the morning, took a bus back to Chengdu in the afternoon, and then transferred to go home.
————————————
If you don't want to come to the city, just go up the mountain for two days.
If you want to soak in hot springs, you need a bathing suit. Take this. It's expensive to buy there.
Because climbing the mountain is out of personal strength, it is not excluded to use sightseeing buses and ropeways for temporary transportation. If you save time and effort, you don't have to climb mountains, but many scenic spots will be skipped directly. Most tour groups just play at the foot of the mountain, halfway up the mountain and Jinding.
Climbing a mountain will make you sweat, but as the altitude rises and the temperature drops, your back is wet and cold, and it is easy to catch a cold. Remember to take a hot bath and change into thick clothes that night. Jinding is more than 3000 meters above sea level, and it is a little breathless from excessive exercise, but don't worry about being too high. Jinding can rent down jackets, but the clothes are big and ugly, probably the kind worn by men who are 1.9 meters tall.
It is very important to prevent slipping when traveling in the snow. You can tie some strips of cloth on your shoes to increase friction.
There are two kinds of sightseeing buses, 100 and 50, which go directly to the top of the mountain and halfway up the mountain.
