Let's have a look! PS soon produced a huge sky effect.

This tutorial is to introduce you to the method of making super-large sky effect map by PS. The effect of the tutorial is very beautiful, isn't it difficult? It is really worth learning from friends who like photography. Ok, let's enjoy it together!

We have seen many landscape photos taken by photographers, and one thing in common is that the sky gives people a very dreamy and beautiful feeling. So for us ordinary photographers, shooting such a sky is first a matter of time, and the other is to master more complicated photography techniques.

So is it possible that the sky photographed by the mobile phone is so clear?

No

Ha ha.

Although it is difficult to show the shock we want to express by taking pictures of the scenery with mobile phones, there are still ways to improve it:

The essence is that the mobile phone camera is automatic, and many parameters and data are not perfect and correct, so we can modify and improve it later. My humble opinion, please have a look.

With my mobile phone, I will show you at Xuanwu Lake in the center of Nanjing:

It's easy to take pictures with a mobile phone. The sky is white;

If you aim at the sky, the ground will be dark;

As long as there is sky, there is darkness below. As long as the ground is normal, the sky is white. Why is this?

The sky is the light source and the ground is illuminated by the sky.

It's like a light bulb illuminating the box below.

The light bulb is obviously countless times brighter than the box. This gap is often acceptable to human eyes, but the endurance of mobile phones is not as good as that of human eyes, so it is impossible to shoot two objects with such a big gap at the same time.

So we stood by the lake to solve this problem.

First, we need to take a reasonable photo. Take out your mobile phone, in automatic mode, touch the middle of the screen with your hand, focus on the lake, and then touch the photo button. (My mobile phone auto mode already contains HDR, so no one can turn it on. )

The original picture is like this: (actually, it's a little dark. )

Next, the key is to post-process this original image. The link to the original image is: 20150628 _132402.jpg _ Baidu network disk. You can also download the coach.

General idea: 1. Correct exposure. (avoid being too bright and too dark) 2. Correct horizontal line 3. Add colors as needed.

Open this picture in PS first:

Ctrl+Shift+A enters the camera Raw:

We can see that the part in the red circle is too dark, it is already dark, and there is no detail.

Pull the shadow option to the top:

It's basically true to look at the sky again, but we hope that dark clouds will have greater visual impact, so we can darken the sky.

Reduce highlights and increase white:

Add a little contrast, I usually don't touch contrast. More clarity, more natural saturation, less saturation. I pulled it here at will. The principle is: be careful not to overflow the color. )

The latest version of PS cc 20 15 has new anti-fog options. China's national conditions should be considered. Ha ha!

Very practical, but there is no smog in this photo, so I don't need it for the time being.

Click OK to return to Photoshop.

View-New Guide-Horizontal:

Drag the reference line near the horizon and you can see that this photo is not horizontal:

Remember the grade calibration when taking landscape photos ~

Turn the picture slightly to the reference line to keep the horizon level.

Then the picture is blank, don't crop it (the field of vision will be small after cropping). We chose the blank part:

Right-click-Fill:

Select content identification and confirm:

Blank parts are filled:

Next, let's look at colors.

Don't set filters to adjust colors, but think about what you want.

In this picture, I think the dark clouds should be a little dark red and yellow, and the light of this color is also reflected in the water. The color of water is green. The color of the building remains unchanged.

Ctrl+J copies the layer.

Open the adjustment curve panel, red:

We found that the highlight of the curve (in the red box) corresponds to the luminous place of the clouds and the reflection in the water. The low light part (in the blue box) corresponds to the green water surface:

So raise the right curve and lower the left curve. Make the clouds glow, the water surface reflects red, and the water surface appears blue.

Then adjust the blue curve so that the dark places are blue and the bright places (the reflection of clouds and water) are yellow:

Merge the upper two layers:

Drag the merged layer to the bottom. Then create a new mask for the layer above:

Brush the luminous part of the cloud and the reflective part of the water with the softest black brush;

Produce the light that night should have:

Next, make some details adjustments. You can send it to a circle of friends: (I think the taste is a little strong, so I weakened the effect a little)

At night by the lake, the naked eye can see the shocking scene, but the mobile phone can't shoot it directly. Therefore, through the later stage, the photos can fully express the scene and convey the photographer's emotional feelings at that time to the viewer. In the later stage, it is only limited to brightness, rotation and color intensity, which is one of the purposes of mobile phone photography.

The most important thing is exposure, that is, the brightness is appropriate. Bright colors are different. Seeing that some friends don't like bright colors, I'll give you a black and white one:

These were recently taken by my mobile phone. Please refer to the light balance between cloud and ground:

At the end of the tutorial, the above is a tutorial for PS to quickly make super-large sky renderings. Like friends can follow the tutorial to learn!
