These bloody scenes were omitted from the film, but one person-San Bao was added. The devil first ordered the butcher to cut three shots, and the butcher killed three shots with one knife, thus avoiding his pain and humiliation. In the whole movie, what moved me most was the death of Jiu-Er. In the novel, Jiu-Er's death is actually a slow motion. Jiu-Er was lying in the sorghum field. However, when she saw sorghum, smelled the fresh taste of crushed sorghum and felt the oppressive feeling coming from her back, she felt unprecedented satisfaction and finally fell asleep with a smile. This plot is very intriguing and is the climax of the novel. However, Zhang Yimou changed his role here. From Jiu-Er's point of view, what a dying person sees is a little miserable and desperate. Zhang Yimou changed to Yu Zhanao and saw a red sun, and all the red films in the sky also ended in the red sky. What Yu Zhanao was thinking about when he saw the red sun became a suspense. I have to say that Zhang Yimou's move is very bold, but Jiu-Er has been replaced by Yu Zhanao
