Introduction of American Professional Photographers Association

Founded in 1880, American Professional Photographers Association (PPA) is a world-renowned non-profit international photography organization with almost the same history as photography. It is composed of more than 25,000 individual professional photographers from 54 countries and nearly 200 affiliated organizations and branches. It is the largest professional photographer association in the world. At the beginning of this century, PPA founded the American Union of Visual Artists and its affiliated organizations, such as the American Association of International Commercial Photographers, the American Association of News and Sports Photographers, and the American Student Photography Federation. PPA has been leading the world trend in photography fields such as art, business, documentary and sports, and is at the forefront of the world in the application of photography art and technology, as well as business planning and management.
