Photographic Notes 31-What's the difference between clarity, contrast and sharpening?

Contrast: acting on the whole film, the contrast of the picture is greater, the black is darker and the white is whiter;

Sharpness: only change the edge contrast of the object, without affecting other places.

Sharpening: two contrast lines are plated on both sides of the edge of the object to make it look sharper, and the sense of outline is stronger than that of clarity.

Generally speaking, if you want to adjust the brightness of the picture, you need to use contrast, but you only want to adjust the contrast of the edge of the object and enhance the outline. You only need to adjust the sharpness and sharpening, and the sharpening degree is greater than the sharpness.
