Is fpp the first person or the third person?

First-person perspective, TPP: third-person perspective. The general difference between the two modes is as simple as the literal meaning. From the perspective, FPP is like "I" using "eyes" to get the information I collected. TPP is like "God" getting the information I collected behind me (higher). In order to survive in the Jedi, FPP can only see the "eyes" facing 180, while TPP can see the 360 picture around the character itself. In my understanding, the difference between the two modes is obvious: in TPP, I can see you, but you may not be able to see me; In FPP, you can see me, and I will definitely see you. In other words, compared with TPP, the information obtained by FPP players is relatively equivalent.

1. horizon

For players who are exposed to FPS games such as Survival of the Jedi for the first time, many people will fall into the strange circle of "playing first person = dizziness". For myself, even though I am a first-person straight man who has played FPS games such as CSGO, COD and Watching Pioneer, when I first started playing FPP, I felt more or less dizzy. After inquiring about some related knowledge, I found that the FOV in the game settings is working. FOV is also a setting in the field of view of FPP camera. Similar to the focal length in photography, the larger the numerical value, the more content the picture shows, but the greater the distortion.

I won't go into details here why the setting of FOV will affect the experience of first-person games. I want to emphasize that too high or too low FOV may cause players to get dizzy, so setting a relatively comfortable FOV is the basis to solve the problem of first-person dizziness. Too low FOV will make the viewing angle too narrow, making it difficult to adapt to rapid rotation. Too high FOV will distort the nearby scene, and wide-angle lens will make people feel sick. After a long experiment, when the setting range of FOV is 90-99, my dizziness is the least.

2. Mouse sensitivity setting

The FOV of TPP is not adjustable, while the FOV of FPP is adjustable. This leads to the same sensitivity of DPI and mouse, and there will be some deviation when moving the viewing angle and alignment in the two modes. When you play FPP, you will feel a little fast. 103 FOV, you need to reduce the mouse speed of the original TPP by about 5-7, which is completely adaptable.
