Good morning, director profile of Mumbai.

Mira nair, the director, was born into a middle-class Indian family, and fell in love with film production when he was studying at Harvard University. Her first feature film Good Morning Mumbai 1988 won the Golden Award at Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Lion Award at Venice Film Festival in 200 1, becoming the first female directors to win this honor.

Mira nair's first feature film "Good Morning Mumbai" (Sallam Mumbai! ) shows the painful life of a little boy struggling in the slums of Mumbai, and effectively reveals the tragic experience of street children with documentary-like techniques and realistic style.
