The meaning of one meter sunshine

Since ancient times, mankind has never stopped chasing and worshipping the sun. In ancient times, many nationalities even regarded the sun as the god who dominated everything in the world and worshipped it. Time has entered 200 years. On the first day of 2008, the sun god threw lucky colored balls at Shitang, Wenling, making this fishing port town, which lives in the southeast corner of China, famous for the first sunshine of the new millennium.

On this day, Shitang smiled.

Sunshine is everywhere, but this meter of sunshine in Shitang is different.

At 6: 46 on June 65438+1 October/October, 2000, all eyes of China turned to Shitang-when the gorgeous morning glow on the East China Sea faded, when 100 industrious and simple fishermen blew a loud horn with 100 conchs, a wisp of it. This is not only the first ray of sunshine in Shitang, but also the first ray of century sunshine in Chinese mainland. To commemorate this great event, the Beijing Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences named an asteroid with the international permanent number "14 147" discovered on September 28th, 1998, becoming the first asteroid named after a county-level city.

I'm afraid even Shitang people themselves can't predict that the land where their ancestors lived will be famous all over the world because of this magical sunshine. On this day, the gongs and drums in Shitang kept ringing from morning till night, and more than a thousand red lanterns rang, and a flood of people came from all directions. The local fishermen celebrated this special day in the simplest way, bringing a pavilion, a hundred fishing lanterns and a dragon dance team ... The fishermen showed all the folk performances that are usually only available during the Spring Festival in China and dedicated them to guests from all over the country.

On this day, Tang poetry smiled, and with the first ray of sunshine in the new century, she entered a brand-new era. The dawn of the new millennium not only brought 65.438+0.2 billion yuan in tourism revenue to Wenling, but also made Shitang famous in the world, forming a unique sunshine culture in Wenling today.

East longitude 12 1 degree 36', north latitude 28 15'

In fact, only from the map, Shitang is inconspicuous. It is just a peninsula extending from the mainland of China to the East China Sea of China. Locals call it "the ends of the earth in Eurasia". On the map is a uplift called Ruoshan, which forms a wedge and nails into the East China Sea.

This is a fishing port in the East China Sea, which is blown by the sea breeze day and night. It smells salty all year round. People here live by the sea and make a living. It is like a paradise, far away from the outside world. In 1980s, Shitang ushered in its glorious period. In the meantime, someone came to Shitang? Feng's painters discovered this treasure trove of geomantic omen, so artists flocked to make this quiet little fishing village lively and give it the reputation of "Notre Dame de Paris in the East". However, after the 1990s, with the development of modernization of Shitang, the number of artists who went to collect folk songs began to decrease, and Shitang gradually became silent.

However, due to its special geographical location, Shitang is luckier than other places. The special latitude and longitude points of East longitude 12 1 degree 36' and North latitude/28 degrees 15' make Shitang the first sunny place in Chinese mainland in the new millennium. This is our country's scientific research team, using several independent calculation methods, from Hainan Island in the south to hundreds of places in Heilongjiang in the north, and finally the results are obtained. This calculation has been confirmed by the Greenwich Observatory and the United States Naval Observatory, which are authoritative organizations in the international astronomical community.

East longitude 12l degrees 36', north latitude 28 degrees 15', Shitang is destined not to be forgotten.

Dawn garden, witness the first ray of sunshine.

Shuguang Garden, located at the top of Leigong Cliff in Shitang, was specially built by the local government to welcome the first sunshine of the new millennium. It is also the best place to watch the dawn and sunrise in Shitang.

Standing on the top of the cliff, you can see the sea and sky in the distance, and the fishing sails are a little bit. The nearby stone house faces the mountain and the sea. In the center of Shuguang Garden, the Millennium Dawn Monument stands in the wind, 20 meters high, built by the local granite monument. The Dawn Monument consists of two opposite sail-shaped stone monuments, which not only symbolizes opening the door of the new millennium to welcome the first ray of sunshine, but also means sailing and looking far away, and it is like a hand with crossed hands praying for "fish every year". Connecting the stone tablet is a stainless steel woven "fishing net". When the first ray of sunlight passed through the clouds and just passed through the fishing net, it reflected a dazzling light. On the side facing the sea, the stone tablet is engraved with the words "Dawn of the Millennium" inscribed by Zhou, then vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC).

Going north from the Dawn Monument 100 meters, is there a silvery white on the roof of a building? Ball? To architecture. This is Shitang Planetarium, the first county-level planetarium in China. Planetarium * * * invested 4.5 million yuan, with a construction area of about/kloc-0.08 million square meters. The main body consists of planetarium, astronomy hall, astronomy exhibition hall and astronomy theater.

Walking into the gate of the planetarium, you can see a sundial model. In the middle of the hall is a replica of Zhang Heng's seismograph, as well as a planetarium model and a photoelectric astrologer. The exhibition hall in the west shows all the replicas of astronomical cultural relics, such as the replica of Zhang Qian Copper Leak in the Western Han Dynasty. According to the data, the Zhang Qian copper leak was accidentally discovered in the sand dune of Hangjinqi, Yikezhaomeng, Inner Mongolia on 1976, and is now collected in the Museum of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The words "Zhang Qian" are cast on the bottom of the clepsydra, and the words "Copper leakage in Zhang Qian" are engraved on the front of the clepsydra. This is an excellent timekeeping tool in ancient China.

In addition, there are replicas of sun-patterned pottery pots unearthed from Yangshao cultural site in Neolithic Age, bamboo slips unearthed from Han tombs, replicas of astronomical Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Shang Dynasty, and replicas of pocket bronze watches from 65438 to 0965 in Han tombs in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province, which are enough to arouse people's interest in astronomy and understand the brilliant achievements of ancient astronomical technology in China.

Shitang Planetarium has many projects that tourists can participate in. For example, the solar system's planetary simulation weighing system can simulate the weight of each planet. In addition, there are pictures or miniature models of Jane Eyre, Dengfeng Stargazing Observatory and Beijing Ancient Observatory in the exhibition halls on the second and third floors, which make people intuitively understand astronomical knowledge. The fourth floor is a fully automatic professional astronomical telescope imported from the United States, equipped with GLS global satellite automatic positioning system. According to reports, this astronomical telescope can automatically locate and track 1.4 million celestial bodies, and can accurately observe craters, Saturn rings, planets, stars, nebulae and other celestial bodies on the moon at night.

Leigong Mountain, where Shuguang Garden is located, was once a military stronghold during World War II. At that time, the allied forces set up a post here to guard against Japanese invaders, and it was not removed until after the end of World War II. In the 1950s and 1960s, the People's Liberation Army set up a "navigation station" here, and there was also a female militia post on the mountain, equipped with radar, high-powered binoculars and other equipment. Inspectors are fishermen's girls. Today, these military facilities have shed their mysterious veil and are open to tourists.

Long Yuan 'ao, a small fishing village awakened by the kiss of sunshine.

Long Yuan Ao Village is located on Ao Mountain behind Shuguang Garden, and it only takes a few minutes to walk. The special geographical location makes this small fishing village see the sun earlier than other villages.

Overlooking from the top of the mountain, Long Yuan Aocun is built on the mountain, with smooth stone roads winding and connecting small stone houses in series. The front and back of the house are full of rape blossoms, and the striking yellow sea of flowers blooms in the sun and swings around against the sea breeze. Nowadays, there are only a dozen families in Ao Village. For the convenience of life, most of them have moved to the town below the mountain. Most of the people who stick to the village are old people or children. It is said that the villagers have a common ancestor-Zhang Yuanlong. That year, he moved here from Fujian, and found that fish, fat and shrimp were beautiful and the climate was pleasant, so he settled in the mountains. Moreover, according to local customs, the village built a stone house with its back to the sea and local materials. After several generations of development, the village has gradually reached today's scale. In memory of their ancestors, the local people named this village Long Yuan 'ao.

I don't know if this statement has been verified, but in the eyes of local villagers, it is the name of the village that brings them good luck. "The year 2000 is the first year of the new millennium, and it is also the Year of the Loong. On January 1 this year, the first sunshine was ushered in, and both Yuan and Long were proved here. " When telling us about this beautiful coincidence, the faces of local villagers were filled with smiles. Obviously, after Ji Shuguang's death, they have a brand-new understanding of this place where they have lived for hundreds of years.

Walking in the village, you can see the endless sea as soon as you look up, and the sound of the waves blows head-on with the salty and wet sea breeze. Occasionally, I can see the old people in twos and threes dragging home leisurely, and some don't like to join in the fun, squinting and sitting in front of their house in the sun. For us strangers, they seem to be used to it, and sometimes they grumble impatiently: "It's all a old bones, what's there to shoot?" In the spring afternoon, the warm sunshine shines on this quiet little fishing village. For us, this is a beautiful day, but for them, it may be the most ordinary day.

Set sail towards sunrise.

Since ancient times, our ancestors have believed that "the sky is God and the sun is revered" and regarded the sun as the "king of gods", and the specifications of offering sacrifices to the sun should be the highest. Shitang people have a special feeling for the sun.

Chen and Chen are photographers in Shitang. They especially like taking pictures of the sun. They told us that Shitang people's reverence for the sun has a tradition since ancient times, not just because of the "first sunshine". For a fisherman living by the sea, the weather can determine his harvest in a day, a year or even a lifetime. If he encounters a typhoon, his fishing boat will break down, and sometimes his life will be in danger. Therefore, in the past, the first thing fishermen did when they got up every day was to look up at the sky. If the sun rises, it means that today may be a good day to go to sea.

In this way, day after day, year after year, the fishing port in Shitang slowly wakes up under the bath of the morning light, and then gradually becomes noisy, then returns to silence and then makes noise again. When the sun came out, the fishermen sailed out to sea and set sail before sunset. In that era when technology was not very developed, fishermen drifting on the vast sea could only tell the direction of the sea in one day by the orientation of the sun and stars. The sun is their closest companion at sea.

The sun in Chen and Chen's photographs is constantly changing. Sometimes it looks like a fireball, hanging at the end of the sea; Sometimes like a golden plate, sprinkle a little broken gold towards the sea; Sometimes it seems like a shy girl, hiding in thick clouds, only illuminating the clouds on the horizon.

Today's Dawn Garden is the best place to shoot the dawn and sunrise, and now it has become a must-see place for local newcomers to take wedding photos. Chen can't remember how many couples he took to shoot the sunrise. This ray of dawn has opened a brand-new day for Shitang people, and lovers are willing to freeze it on the first page of their new life.
