What language should I learn if I want to know something about programming? What language to learn has nothing to do with gender. C/C++ requires strong logical ability and a good understanding of the operating system, while Java/C# pays more attention to the design of software architecture. Even in most cases, java/c# programmers don't need to have a deep understanding of the operating system (no need to manage memory).

If you just write a small program, just learn java or C#, it's easier to get started. If you want to make progress in programming, you'd better learn c/c++. This thing is like nothing. After you really learn it, you can understand all programming languages.
