Extended data
Loch Ness belongs to the maritime temperate broad-leaved forest climate. The maximum temperature shall not exceed 32℃, and the minimum temperature shall not be lower than-10℃. Generally, the average temperature in July is 19 ~ 25℃, and the average temperature in October is/kloc-0 ~ 4℃. The annual precipitation in the north and west is more than 1 100 mm, of which the mountain area is more than 2000 mm, the highest is 4000mm, the central lowland is 700-850 mm, and the east and southeast are only 550 mm, which is the driest in February-March every year, from June 10 to June 10 the following year.
Common lake fluctuation is caused by temperature difference. One reason for the sharp rise and fall of the water level is the lack of plants in the water, and another reason is that the bottom of the lake is close to the coastline. There are few animals in the deep lake.
Loch Ness, like some deep lakes in the Scottish Plateau and Scandinavia, is said to have water monsters. Especially since the opening of the expressway near Lake Nice, there have been more eyewitness reports of the so-called Loch Ness Monster. As for the possibility of the existence of water monsters-perhaps an extinct solitary plesiosaur-will continue to attract many people's curiosity and interest.
In summer, the water temperature within 30 meters from the water surface can reach 12 degrees Celsius, but the water temperature below 30 meters remains at 5.5 degrees Celsius.
So most fish and aquatic animals live near the water surface. Until 1980, people thought that there was no life at the bottom of the lake. However, in the Loch Ness project of 198 1, the Arctic Shire was found at a water depth of more than 700 feet. Is it possible that there are other unknown creatures living here?
