Wutaishan specialty

Wutai Mountain specialty includes Trollius chinensis, Taiwan Province mushroom and Taiwan Province Codonopsis pilosula. Trollius chinensis is a famous tea in Wutai Mountain. Taiwan Province mushrooms have tender meat, elegant fragrance and delicious taste. The biggest feature is that it will not harden after drying.

Wutai Mountain is located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, between 38 55'-39 66' north latitude and113 29'-13 39' east longitude, with a planned scenic area of 607 square kilometers and an administrative jurisdiction area of 436 square kilometers.

Wutai Mountain has a vast number of Buddha statues, with more than 30,000. There are not only buddhas, bodhisattvas, arhats, threatened servants, providers and protectors, but also Confucianism, Taoism, local religions, emperors and princes, monks and laymen. There are eight kinds of Buddha statues here: clay sculpture, metal, stone carving, wood carving, porcelain burning, undressing, embroidery and portrait. In addition, there are pagodas, screen walls, archways and steles.

It is held every year in June of the lunar calendar, during which large-scale Buddhist activities, folk cultural activities and mule, horse and livestock trade conferences are held. The activities of Chaohui are rich, one of which is that monks from all directions gather in Taihuai Town to do Dojo and recite scriptures, which makes Wutai Mountain full of mysterious religious colors.

There are many unique dishes and snacks in Wutai Mountain area, where you can taste traditional famous dishes such as sliced meat mushrooms, stir-fried Taiwan mushrooms, and chicken stewed Taiwan mushrooms, which are fragrant but not greasy.
