The way to shoot the moon

Shooting the moon is actually much easier than I thought. The following are the equipment and parameters I used in my previous successful shooting.

focal distance

First of all, you need a focal length of about 300 mm I tried to convince myself not to buy new equipment. I used a 200mm lens and a 1.4x rangefinder, with a total focal length of 280mm. ..

speed

The lower the sensitivity, the better. I used ISO 100. Actually, I tried ISO 50, but ISO 100 is better.

hole

Setting the aperture to f/ 1 1 can ensure the complete details of the lunar surface.

Camera settings

I set the camera to live view mode, ready to use the LCD screen to zoom in 10 times for manual focusing, use the cable to release the remote control, and use the Manfutu 055CX3 tripod to ensure the stability of the camera.

post processing

In Photoshop CS 5, I adjusted the curve to medium contrast, and then sharpened it with USM filter (quantity 150%, radius 1.0, threshold 0).

abstract

Canon 5D Mark II camera, EF 200mm f/2.8L lens, 1.4x rangefinder, shutter speed1125s, aperture f/ 1 1, sensitivity ISO 100, live view mode.

Work hard, maybe you will get unexpected surprises.

Lunar eclipse schedule

The total lunar eclipse has several important time points, such as initial loss, heavy food, light and last contact. The time of this total lunar eclipse is (Beijing time):

Initial loss: 10, 20: 45, food: 10, 22: 06, raw light: 10, 22: 57, and final contact: 1 1, 0:/kloc.

The total eclipse stage is from food to light. This means that the best total eclipse time for photographers is 5 1 minute.

How to take a good seascape photo?

The place you must go in summer is the seaside. However, you should find that taking photos at the seaside often leads to overexposure, or the contrast between light and dark in the scene is too great to accurately highlight the exposure of the subject. Next, we should bring some practical shooting skills to photographers who love going to the seaside. If the light at the seaside is too strong, we can find a shady place to shoot in the shadow. When shooting waves, you need to use the high-speed shutter and continuous shooting function of 1/500 seconds or more to capture the instantaneous changes of waves. What other shooting techniques are there?

Shoot in the dark

In the strong noon, in order to avoid scattered light directly entering the lens. If possible, you can stand in the shadow and shoot. The photos taken in this way can get better contrast and more accurate exposure.

Aperture priority,116 seconds, F 16, ISO 100.

Solidified rolling waves

Set a high-speed shutter for more than 1/500 seconds, and use the high-speed continuous shooting function to capture the instantaneous change of rough waves. When shooting, you can use a long lens to fill the screen with splashing waves, and try to reduce the angle to shoot back, which can better express the momentum of the waves.

Extended coastline

Try to find the highest point, shoot from the perspective of overlooking, and use the gentle extension of the coastline to lead the line of sight to the distance. The coastline can change the visual focus and make the picture look energetic and imposing.

Underwater world

When diving, try to get close to the subject, because the underwater light is weak, and it is difficult to take a clear picture from a long distance. If you can carry an external light source, it is very helpful for diving shooting.

Make a scene (or situation) description beforehand.

When we have enough time to carefully arrange some scenes, such as shells, footprints and patterns painted on the beach, they are all good themes. It often becomes a special story and a good visual element in the picture.

Shoot sunrise and sunset

When diving, try to get close to the subject, because the underwater light is weak, and it is difficult to take a clear picture from a long distance. If you can carry an external light source, it is very helpful for diving shooting. Sunrise and sunset on the beach are beautiful scenery that many people yearn for. Pay special attention to accurate metering when shooting. At this time, you can use spot metering or center offset average metering mode to meter the sky with moderate brightness above the sun. This can darken the area dyed red by the sun and greatly improve the success rate of exposure. In the foreground, carefully selected silhouettes are used to enhance the depth of the space through the contrast between light and dark, thus setting off the glory of the sun.
