Is it appropriate to examine ps works from an artistic aesthetic point of view? Is ps suitable from a photographic point of view?

My personal understanding is pure PS synthesis, which is certainly not suitable for photography, but it is possible from the perspective of artistic aesthetics. However, the photographic works modified by PS should be viewed from these two angles. There are many professional photographers who use PS now and will play photography in the future. I know the vice chairman of the Photographers Association of our city. He has been a photographer for more than 20 years, and his works will be treated simply. However, too many PS works (such as ugly photos taken by children with a fool's camera, and you let PS masters turn them into photographers) are aesthetically pleasing, but they have lost their value.
