What does Pan mean?

PAN is the abbreviation of polyacrylonitrile and polyacrylonitrile.

Polyacrylonitrile (c? h? n)? A chemical substance obtained by free radical polymerization of acrylonitrile. Acrylonitrile units in the macromolecular chain are connected in a common tail way. Mainly used for manufacturing polyacrylonitrile fiber. Polyacrylonitrile fiber (commonly known as acrylic fiber) has low strength, poor wear resistance and fatigue resistance.

Polyacrylonitrile fiber has good weather resistance and sunlight resistance, and can still maintain 77% of its original strength after being placed outdoors for 18 months. It is also resistant to chemical reagents, especially inorganic acids, bleaching powder, hydrogen peroxide and general organic reagents.

Extended data:

use

1. Polyacrylonitrile fiber is widely used to replace wool, or blended with wool to make wool fabric. It can replace some wool to make blankets and carpets, and can also be used as outdoor fabrics, such as ski clothes, sails, military canvas, tents and so on.

2. Polyacrylonitrile hollow fiber membrane has the functions of dialysis, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and microfiltration, and can be used for medical devices, artificial organs, ultra-pure water production, sewage treatment and reuse.

3. The electrolyte polymer matrix used for lithium-ion polymer battery has high ionic conductivity, which can reach 10, and the lithium ion migration number is higher than that of PEO system, which can reach 0.5. However, there is a strong polar group -CN in the PAN chain, which has poor compatibility with lithium electrode and serious passivation.
