Basic knowledge course of photography introduction

Besides learning aperture, shutter and ISO, beginners also need to know how to expose photos correctly. Don't worry that it is difficult to judge whether exposure and debugging are appropriate, because the histogram of digital camera is a good helper to judge exposure.

Details 0 1 This is the histogram. Beginners are confused when they see this. What is ups and downs? In fact, it is the brightness value of the photo pixel. What do they stand for? It's simple. The left represents darkness, the right represents light, and the middle represents medium gray!

If a photo has only one color, the histogram will look like this (the middle gray here refers to the middle gray, but for color images, this position refers to the middle value, not necessarily the middle gray).

Each photo has a corresponding light and dark distribution map, which shows pixels with different brightness from extremely black to extremely white, and also reflects the exposure of the photo. As shown in the figure below, the histogram distribution is extremely extreme, mostly at both ends of the dark and bright parts, and the gray area in the middle is very small. It can be inferred that the exposure of photos should be a strong contrast between light and dark, and the transition is not obvious.

Of course, the histogram is only a guide, not an absolute reference standard. Because there is no standard answer to exposure, in order to match the expressive force of the picture, it is sometimes necessary to deliberately overexpose or underexpose. The key is that you can now know the exposure of a photo by yourself through the histogram and learn how to adjust it.
